| Way to go Sheila! There are two other cruises you can take as your thank you gift, but it would be great to see you on the July sailing! I hope you can stay inside and bake cookies or something. Stay warm! It's very foggy and cool here this am, and we are supposed to have rain by the weekend, just in time for all the trick or treaters! | |

| Hi, Everyone. FYI For those qualifing for the Free Cruise on Crystal sailing to the Baltic on Aug 5, 2009 you may reach me by calling or emailing me at at 1-800-842-1786 or my personal email LonaLee@FriendlyCruises.com I noticed the contact information on the link didn't work. This is also the same contact information for the European River Boat cruise that is July 19, 2009 which is a back to back opportunity. There seems to be trouble with the contact links on both of the websites. |

| Hi everyone! I have a stupid question.....It's been ages since we took a 7 day cruise. Is there still two formal nights? For our upcoming Vison of the Seas. Also, last year for the Radiance cruise I rented Jim a Tux and it was delivered to our cabin. Now the website says they ship it to your home? Do I have the right website? cruiselineformal.com?? I'm thinking I should just buy Jim a tux, if they don't deliver to the ship anymore. | |

| Congrats Patti! I got an email from the TA that is handling my Vision cruise yesterday, saying that I would get back $200 because she applied a Senior discount to my MIL's and Jim's booking. I had to tell her that Jim is not a senior. Maybe we will still get a $100? | |

| Yahoo That's so cool Patti. Nothing like saving money. I canceled my August 30th cruise, sent e-mail to TA yesterday and received confirmation back today. Also got adjustment today, flu shot, picked up Alex's year supply of contacts, stopped to make a payment and went by court house to get stamped and legal copy of guardianship to have at home in case of emergency. Now do I have enough time to send in for a passport for Alex if I get photo taken tomorrow and mail application by Friday? We leave on the 20th of November. | |

| Wow you've been busy Ginny! The passport may come in time, they've been coming pretty quick, 2-3 weeks or so. But you can't mail in the application. You have to take your GS to a passport acceptance office with all paper work, (usually a post office). And they will try to make you pay for expidited service, but I would not do it. You have an extra certified copy of his birth certificate if the passport does not come in time don't you? Bring two checks, you have to make one out to the State Dept and one out to the Post Office. | |

| Here is the State Dept website: http://travel.state.gov/ You can fill out the paperwork online, and then print it out, to take in. | |

| Thanks Jen, yes I sent away for state stamped Birth Cert. and received them in two or three days, bought two to be on safe side. If it paperwork didn't come back in time I still have guardianship papers and birth cert. to get on ship with. Thanks for the link will check it out. | |

Ginny, like Jen said, after you have filled in all the paperwork and have a pp photo taken........then take it to the post office that handles passport applications. Not all do..........or that's how it is here. It should not take long for Alex to get his passport because he is a minor, and they seem to take less time.

| Looks like the Oasis is going to happen but we probably can't do the July 1st QM2 at this point. We'll probably do the 7 night one on Princess. I can't remember but who here is on the Oasis one? Patti congrats on your savings. Doncha just love when that happens. I'm still hoping for a drop in our Radiance one for April. We just saw a NCL out of Phila 14 nights repo for $499 OV ending in Charleston SC I wish we could just jump on board but it's Nov 1st the same day we're going to Chicago. If it were any other time it would be a bargain for sure. We'll watch for that next year for sure. We may see more of this with the economy the way it is. I hope tonight is the night CL leaves DWTS. It's definitely time. The Phillies and Rays will play tomorrow night and there is much controversy here about how long it took to call the game. |

I'd like to see a price drop on our April cruise as well, but I don't think that will happen. I agree.........they should have called the game way before the 5th inning. It wasn't fair to either team to play in those conditions.

| I just spent a lot of time today watching Monarch sail through the Panama Canal. There's a high definition webcam at the first set of locks, Miraflores, and a regular webcam at the end, Gatun. I've uploaded them to Webshots: http://good-times.webshots.com/album/568336597bhudon | |

| Morning all, I'm sneaking in a post from work as my computer at home is now infected with some virus I can't get rid of! Ray opened an email yesterday because it said "statement enclosed" and it had an attachment!!!! I thought I'd taught him better, but no luck. The virus has taken over my web browser and wants me to download XP Antisypware 2009 or something. I briefly found a website with a "cure" but couldn't get it downloaded. So off to the Geek Squad for my computer! OK, Sheila, congrats on your booking, but does that mean I win a bet???? Diane, you've probably already made the Med Chicken, but if not, you need at least one jar of the marinaded Artichokes so you have the marinade juice. But frozen artichokes as an extra taste so much better than the canned, I agree! OK, better get off line before I get caught! Don't know when I'll get back on, so BEHAVE, or NOT as you see fit!!! | |

I kind of figured I would need some marinade since I did not use the canned artichokes so I used about 3/4 cup of bottled itialian dressing. We'll see. I just do not care for canned artichokes. I will report tomorrow. d
