Radiance 9-14-07 Polar Bear Express "Special"!

I saw gas for $2.55 today and though that was exciting. Sheesh, way to burst my bubble, LOL!

Virginia, the Jewel repo cruises haven't been posted yet, but if it's like Radiance, it will be a nice pair of cruises - 9 nights up and 10 nights back. I think the ports are Vancouver, Victoria, Nainamo (on the 10nighter), Astoria, Seattle, overnight in San Francisco and then San Diego. Maybe a stop at Catalina as well.

The new fridge is cooling down - the delivery guys were in and out in about 20 minutes, which included putting all the shelves together. It's a bit bigger than the last one, which will be nice.

Getting my hair done tomorrow, and nails, too, if I have time in the afternoon. Then I really should pack. Surprise - I left it until the last minute again!

Jean, would you keep me posted about the Jewel repo?

Michelle, Yes Jul and I will both be on the Christmas sailing, with hubby's of course. You should do the NYC shopping trip in Oct. It looks like a really good deal.

Kathy, You can take me off of the Mariner on 6/21/09, I can't do it and the July QM2.

morning all........ran into work for a bit....and it's COLD outside!!

Love Nina's baby's name!! Sounds soooo strong! I imagine he will hit the 2-3 week mark to go home....they usually want the weight over 5# and to be able to breath without help which sounds like he will....YAYYYYY ...the sugar issue is what Rhory had and is pretty common in little guys.

Off to get a few things done quickly and then off to hospital to relieve Daddy to go clean up and get human again!

Packing? HAHAHAHAHA, to paraphrase Kathy. I did label my toiletries - I re-use the little Clinique bottles for stuff and they all look the same. Don't want to be putting foot cream under my eyes, after all!

OK, here's the catch... Ray can't take vacation time at that time of year, and I'm not sure I'm "ballroom" material, but I guess we'll figure it all out! I already told my boss and he didn't say no freaking way, so we'll see!!!

Susan CONGRATS!!!!! Welcome aboard! Susan - no catch. You'll just have to see if your hubby can get off cause you won't want to leave him during the holidays (or maybe you do...lol)

Kathy - my new Oasis sailing is Sept 11, 2010...so you can take me off of the Jan 16th sailing. And of course, I am going with the Chirstmas on QM2. Thanks!

Jen - I saw that NYC trip. What an awesome trip that's going to be! I already booked a NYC one day trip on Dec 6th for $65. The kids wanted to see NYC for christmas. So no shopping for me, I'm afraid.

Thanks for the itinerary! Everyone here at work keeps asking me and I hadn't a clue! But I see you also pointed out the "catch" for me.... wonder what the taxes are on winning a $10K trip!

Unfortunately, Jul, it doesn't work like that. Because of snow and ice, Ray is officially on call from Oct 15 to April 15. He once had special approval to leave for vacation on April 12th and it was a HUGE big deal! I can't imagine them agreeing to a 2 week vacation in the middle of winter! He said he will probably have to have his knee operated on earlier in the fall and still be off on sick leave for him to be able to go!
