Morning everyone,

Our dear friend started a roll call for her April cruise on the Dawn. Not very active.....only 26 posts.

Kathy, she claims that "she" started the roll call for the NCL Jewel October cruise in her response to the teacher. She didn't, it was started by someone else and she has posted on it. I think "confused" is putting it mildly.

It is a beautiful sunny day here...........no snow and the temps they are rising. Supposed to be in the 40's by Monday!!

Not nice excitement here today, but the fire department did a great job in controlling the fire. Thank goodness, no one was injured or killed...did just hear that 6 people were treated for smoke inhalation.

Saw the fire, thought you were smoking in bed again.

Don't know what to say about next Friday. I guess I have to see if my flight gets in on time. I can call you from Phila just before we board and then at least you'd know we were leaving on time but I still don't know is I have time to get to where you can be and back to my gate.

Chris.........yup, the fire looked pretty intense........hard to believe it's all foam up there........good thing no one was injured, could have been a catastrophe. I remember the MGM fire.....back many many moons ago....we were there a couple days prior to it and it gave me chills thinking it could have been us.....

I try not to think about fires like that at hotels or on cruise ships......could just put some major fear in a person.....

Well...........booked some tickets to see Deal or No Deal while we are in LA.......that could be interesting......I don't know how many people they turn away tho, hate to waste a good beach day to try......we'll c.....

Well, doesn't sound promising sooooooooooooo are you stopping on the way back?? Hopefully, with a longer layover??? Since I took 2 1/2 days off after the burglary, I would have to give them some notice, or play sick, for a last minute out. If it's under an hour, would probably cut it way to close.

We did the Monarch last year for the first time and really enjoyed it. Just hoping they'll accept my antique b/c if the new one doesn't get here by then. Would hate being left alone at the dock.

Chris, your link worked fine. That's the one I was referring to. She claims "she" started the roll call for the October cruise. She actually started the roll call for the April cruise. Guess she got a little confused.

Saw the fire at the Monte Carlo on the news yesterday. I had no idea that the face of the hotel was made of foam! Glad that they got it under control in such a short period of time and that everyone made it out safely.

We had another coating of snow last night so went out and cleaned off the front deck and then did the driveway. Temps are supposed to reach into the 40's for Monday and Tuesday and then another sharp downwards.

Chris enjoy the flight, I have never flown with JetBlue.

Jul I think they will be coming in this week to remove the shower and bathtub units. It will be messy in the master bath for awhile but hopeful that in three weeks or a bit more the master bath & kitchen will be getting the new cabinets and appliances. The last to be completed will be the office. The contractor says he plans to be out by end of Feb. mid March the latest. Wondering if I am crazy but I know it will be wonderful when completed.

At this point I am also considering having the carpeting taken out of master bedroom and office and wood floors put in. Anyone have advise on this? The living room has carpet so does the bedrooms, the rest of the house in ceramic tile from front door through out family/kitchen area, halls, baths and laundry areas. Anyway open to advise on type of wood flooring etc. and if it is a good idea. Thanks.
