| Is anyone doing Radiance in the fall? I could combine that with a timeshare stay. | |

| Well, it took me awhile to catch up, three pages since I checked this am. Patti--sorry we misunderstood but guess that I was not the only one, glad to hear that dil is feeling better. Mar--also do not consider myself an expert, Tina was asking for help and I offered to do what I could. We have been cruising for over 30 yrs on many lines. | |

| Sheila--so glad to hear you are taking time to get better, lots of fluids and rest. You can just stay in your pj's until you go back to work. Great news on the B2B, still wish we could join you but just need to be in IA at that time after being in FL all of this time. | |

| Okay, I have a couple of questions for the "Experts" and anyone else. I found a really good deal today, for a two night cruise on Princess from San Francisco to Vancouver, for $149. My question is: Would this be a good cruise to get a taste of Princess? What are the potential problems with a two night cruise? It is May 7th. I was thinking it would be a good girls get a way type thing. Take the cruise to Vancouver and then Amtrak to Seattle and then fly home from Seattle. Cruise $149 Amtrak $27 Flight $59-99 What do you all think? | |

| More PB experts! Patti - I was confused, thinking twins, but so glad Rachel is doing ok. Jen - That sounds like a fun getaway for a couple of days. You can't go anywhere for a weekend at those prices for a hotel, meals, etc. We've always had water restrictions here...but it sure doesn't help with the water bills. Where's Michele??? She must be an expert on cruising with children!!! I have a few questions for her. Oh, a question for "those in the know"...did RC REALLY reinstate combinable benefits???? | |

| Hi, Jill--we need to plan something when we get back from our Navigator cruise. Jen--we will do our first two day cruise next week but would think you could at least evaluate the food/service in two days. | |

| Evening all! Well, it was -16 degrees when I went to work today and it warmed up to a whopping -12! I think all this yucky weather has finally caught up with me. I've had a dry throat all week and today I pretty much lost my voice! Except for a few times when I felt feverish, though, I don't feel all that bad! All our bids got done about an hour earlier than usual, so I'm home "early".. lol after a 12 hour day! Just checking in with everyone and will head to bed to try to kick this thing! Jen, I'd jump on that as a girls get away! It sounds great! | |

| Sheila, congrats on booking the b2b. Don't hang over the railing too far.........don't want you falling over board! BTW...............did you get charged a fee for changing your flight? Chris, I can give you an "expert" answer to your question about combinable benefits. The answer is no, nada, zippo, zilch ................only one benefit can be applied to any sailing as of January 1. I believe if a residency/senior/military discount becomes available it can be applied. But you can only have one OBC.............either from booking a cruise while on a cruise or from being a shareholder or any special promotional booking that RCI offers. If you don't use it, you lose it. P/D/D+ balcony discounts can not be combined with any OBC. Well, it's -5 degrees right now and going lower. Had to start my car twice today along with whispering sweet nothings while I turned the ignition..............can only imagine what tomorrow will bring. Have a great evening.................................... | |

| Jen..........we did a two nighter from YVR to Seattle to get back to the US over 9/11 and HATED it.........it was a 'shuttle bus'......the rudest people on it cuz they all just take it for the cheapness and want the whole world for their money.....Maybe SF instead of Seattle would be better cuz it's not likely to be a shuttle bus. Saw my friend that had her surg yday......I thought she looked great...she was going thru the "i look ugly stage' and was having a hard time....but all in all doing well. Tmrw...shopping... I NEED some major internet time!! j | |

| That was one of my concerns Jul. They also have a 1 nighter from Vancouver to Seattle after the 2 nighter. I don't know. My friends are thinking about it. By the time they decide, it will probably be sold out anyway. | |

| Have fun shopping! Glad your friend is doing good.
We are going to take the trailer out, since it's a 3 day weekend. Headed out to the Sacramento River/Delta tomorrow night. We'll be back on Monday.
Have a good weekend everyone, if I don't chat tomorrow. | |

| Jen, I'm not a big fan of the 1-2 night coastal cruises. I haven't taken one, but to me, anything under 3 nights doesn't even give you a chance to settle in. We've done 3 nighters between LA and Vancouver, and having that extra night really does give you a good taste of the ship, since it's all sea days. And you can't do SF-YVR-SEA as a B2B on the same line because the government considers it one trip, even if it's 2 cruises, and it would violate the Passenger Services Act. We're on Radiance on 11/16 for our annual girls' cruise, and then I'm staying on and Don is joining me for the 11/21 9-nighter. That's all subject to change. We want to do an Oasis pre-inaugural, and figure we'll still have enough credits to get an invite, but RCI's moving upt he start date means we'll be on Radiance. So I don't know what we'll do... | |

| Waking up to -19 this morning. Most of the schools are closed or are opening after 10:00 this morning. We are supposed to hit zero this afternoon... WARM FRONT! LOL I still don't have a voice, but don't feel too bad, so will head out in this cold and go to work. Maybe I'll come home early after my long day yesterday. I can't believe the plane crash and that everyone made it out ok! What an amazing pilot and crew! Well, stay warm, and think happy thought today folks! The weekend is almost here! | |

| Good morning!! Susan--stay warm. I see our g-children have a 2 hr delay today, -24 at our IA home this am. Remember muttering "I hate winter" whenever I had to be out in that when we were still working. It is just miserable. later-- | |
