Susan.........we were talking about Florida and I told him how I wanted to buy a 'retirement condo' and pay it off before retiring but Dh doesn't want to and he said he had talked about that and you didn't want to!!...sounds like we all think alike!!!

Mar.........your computer guy says the same thing our computer guys does...Aol being a memory hog...our tech HATES AOL and wants me to get them off the computers but I like the buddy lists, and my favorites.......

If anyone can tell me how to do the favorites somewhere else, I would gladly do it, but I haven't figured it out yet!!

Sure wish I was still on the beach......My gosh work is ROUGH this week......I think it's "let's see how stressed we can get the boss week"

Nancy....regarding flights for our April cruise. Here is the email address for Lewis, ldorta@rccl.com the wonderful RCI rep in the Air/Sea Dept. that got us the Delta flights out of Atlanta for last March. Have your TA either email him or call the Air/Sea Dept. and ask for him.............he knows that he is going to be booking lots of flights for people going on this cruise...........Suzylovestocruise has already warned him.

If you want to be on the same flight out of Atlanta on April 23 that some of us are trying to get, it would be Delta 147 which leaves at 10:05PM. Delta is opened for return flights up to May 17.........so there should be no problem. I didn't have your email address and I didn't want to post Lewis's email on our roll call. Sue as well as Ray & Stella are booked already but they are flying LAX to Santiago and it is just one way.

Patti, Thanks for the info on Louis. For whatever reason, I didn't have it from last time. I think we just told our TA that you all were getting that flight and she managed to get it too. I remember telling her that a guy named Louis had helped you but I'm glad to have his contact email. You never know. Our TA has the info for this one but we don't have confirmation yet. Bob will call today. Perhaps they'll be back in the office after their big day in NY yesterday.

I am off today and it's beautiful here even a bit on the cool side but sunny and bright. I think I'll take the dogs for a walk on the beach today. I do need to start packing for our trip to the midwest. We leave on Saturday. Can't wait to see the rest of the family.

It's going to be hot here today, probably even by the ocean.

I'm on hold with American trying to redeem some miles for Europe next year. I can only put a 5-day hold on the outbound and the return won't be availabe until July 5, so if I can't extend, I just book a dummy return and then hope that what I want is available on 7/5. If not we'll have to pay $175 to get the miles back into our account. Given that Don can drop that in the casino without blinking an eye, I think that's a gamble worth taking.

I have been using AOL since I worked for United....they got a reduced rate for their employees and it enabled us to do scheduling, bidding, etc. at home. Have been using it so long, just can't teach an old dog new tricks!

Patti, is this Lewis someone that only D+s can use? When I called Custom Air to book our Alaska flights, I was tring to get some info on our flights to and from Galveston for our Voayger B2B next January. There are some timing difficulties in that RCI is putting us up at the Double Tree in IAH on the night before and then I understand it takes some time to get from Galveston to IAH when we get back into Galveston from the B2B. The gal at Custom Air said that we, the public, cannot contact Air/Sea at all. If this is a D+ thing, we will be D+ at the end of our Alaska trip in Sept.

Hot here today....supposed to get hotter in the O.C. tomorrow.

Mar, Lewis is the young man that works in Air/Sea that did such a great job with our international flights for SA. I am sure that he handles other flights as well.

If you have booked your cruise through a TA, then you can not talk with the Air/Sea Dept. Your TA has to do that. However, if you have booked directly with RCI, then talk with the rep that you booked with as far as your pre/post and flight arrangements.

I have no idea if it is a D+ thing or not.................ask Karen...........she would know!

Don't worry Patti, I just thought it was good info to have whether I end up needing it or not. Our TA did get us booked today and we've already picked out our seats. Bob just checked and the one way to Santiago right now is $2928 from Atlanta so once again RCCL is a good deal.

As to the detective work, I too looked and saw some possibilities. I thought I hit paydirt with a Barbie one but the posts were too understandable.

Oh man,I miss NYC already...I could live there........there is always something going on...........I went all over the city,even taking the subway.........I got on GMA(saw Diane and shook hands with Robin) and the Today show)saw Kathy Lee,Hoda and the actress from Lipstick Jungle).........waited to see Regis and got THAT close(did see Regis,Gelman and Mark Conseulos)........I could have been in the audience if I didnt have to get back to head home......I had so much fun with everyone......the presentation was sooooooooo impressive....
