Kathy enjoy your cruise. I understand about the toes and nails try to go once a month and the lady I have is very good. I usually fall asleep and Lori has to wake me to change feet.

Chris and Martha.......PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE forgive me for not calling.....

We got to LV Monday night around 11pm......David started not feeling good on the plane......btt we got to LV he really felt crappy. He ended up sick as heck all week...I walked to a CVS to load up on meds, couldn't get in touch with our dr so made do with otc meds.......he's still feeling crappy but better than Tues when he was wishing he'd just die.

Needless to say, we had NO play time.......

The hotel we stayed at was ok.......no casino (darn) but it felt like we were in Cozumel not LV........that part was nice, kind of a relaxing trip for a trade show....not as much stress.

My bff didn't make it in so we didn't get any playtime at all.........

Started reading the review but YIKES, too tired from flying home and y'all are right, need some tylenol first!

We need to win the Lottery first, but it would be a great way to spend the holidays...I know last year we were away for the first time for Christmas and New Years and had a blast...

And belated happy birthday, Mar! I was a little too wrapped up in Myself last night.

We have our dance lesson this morning, and them I'm going to design a new patio. When we remodelled I let the contractor talk me into concrete with some brick accents and I've always hated it. Better Homes & Gardens had the perfect setup (although I would lose the outdoor kitchen, I think), but it's designed by somebody in Beverly Hills, so I know we have to do the budget version, LOL. The biggest challenge will be the floor - I'm hoping we can just tile over it, since we have about a 3-inch drop from the patio door to the surface. I have to find out if there's a code governing it. Otherwise I'll have to call a professional into demolish & replace. $$$$$$$$$$$$ I'd rather cruise!

Here is the latest from Karen on the Radiance about the folks who's luggage didn't make it:
We found out that RCI gave everyone whose bags were misswing $200. I imagine that the Hyatt will also do something, as the blame is shared. I also imagine that the Resolutions dept. at RCI will be contacted by most of the passengers affected. There has been all kinds of crazy talk about class-action lawsuits, etc. (!), so, as you can see, there were a few meltdowns along the way. There is only so much that can be done while at sea, and a lot of people had trouble with that concept. I stayed very clear of the whole thing. You know how it goes once the complainers get cranked up. I have all the sympathy in the world for them, I understand what they went through.

I wrote to Karen and asked if the folks got their luggage once they got to the islands....they have a right to be upset, but I don't think a lawsuit is necessary. With Rachel onboard, they should have been accommodated accordingly...although I wonder what they did for them on the 1st Formal night?

Jean and Ginny, I tlaked to Bob D yesterday and am going to have the Mariner that we book on Monday on the Monarch transferred into your group!! Nice guy!! Celia had me do that.

Looks like our "May Gray" is going to break up and the sun is going to come out early today....wish this weather would go away!

Thanks for all the birthday wishes. This year is one of those when my b-day actually falls on Mother's Day....I was born on Mother's Day......my poor Mom!!!!

Keep your head down...has felt wierd all day here...but no rain or Thundarstorms.

We went to see Ironman today....was Great! Robert Downy Jr did a great job...Gwen Paltro also.

I worked from home today while John went to the movies with DS. They saw Ironman. Barb, John liked it too!

Julie, hope all is well. We haven't had any rain but it sure has been cloudy and muggy.

Barb......saw a video of a tornado that hit Alabama today...it looked pretty wild...

D......Dj is feeling so so.......I went to pick up his zpack and the damn pharmacy changed it's hours and was closed....by FOUR minutes.....

Hunkered down awaiting the final portion of the storm to move on out...

Tornado was spotted at the warehouse which is about 1.5 miles from here.....luckily east of us so that means the tornado was past us.....

kinda funny, we are in our guest bedroom hunkered down eating our spaghetti and garlic toast and my dd calls laughing that they are sitting in their bathroom eating steak and potatos....guess we both should have lit candles and made it a romantic evening!!...LOL

Morning everyone and a very Happy Mother's Day to everyone.............whether you are a mother or not.

It started to rain here, but nothing really heavy. Supposed to be raining on and off for the next 8 days.

Hope that Dave starts to feel better soon. My doc gives me a script for a z-pack whenever we cruise. If I don's use it............I save it for the "at home" illness, which usually hits after the cruise.

Stay safe to all those experiencing those bad storms.

Finally able to be online.......when they switched my computer to a different one, the new one had 256mb memory...tooooo low to do anything....NOW, maybe I can get a new wifi card and not get knocked off all the time......

Would be so nice to do things on a computer and not end up in a cussing session every time.

Have to buy some new luggage......again......the new bags I got for the PB cruise both have torn open at the seams.....(so much for Samsonite)...I am DONE with their products......now, onto the search.

Hope y'all are having a great day........our dinner is squashed since dh is sick he doesn't want to infect the kids....
