| Nick and Marina, I will stop for your benefits. However, my opinions should not come as a shock to either of you. And, you both know the points I'm driving home. I will leave this thread now and concentrate on other sailings. | |

| Thank you Andy, we want everyone to feel at home here. We don't need to start this CC type of fighting over here. And, I left you a PM answering your questions. We're good |

| Andy is one of a few types on Cunard but, certainly not the majority type of passenger. Besides, if it was stiff as he'd have you believe, they'd never let me onboard |

I wouldn't be so fast to judge me. I've seen those posts you Polar Bears write, you have the ability to shred people in seconds. | |

| Essh Ok Kathy, now tell me the plot of Jersey Boys. I mean I know it's Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons but, is the story line that they're on the verge of their big break or does it take us through their career? And what songs can we expect? |

| I've seen Jersey Boys. It follows their career. Each season is a different phase of their career. Pretty cool. Great show! | |

| Well, that was interesting. I do have to make one small comment, however. I want to experience Cunard and QM2. The ship looks absolutely beautiful! I am sure there will be more culture onboard than I am accustomed to in my normal daily life. (but I do know what to do with a bowl of water w/lemon and I'm reasonably sure which piece of silver to use with which dish) I believe the questions about QM2 are to gain the information BEFORE we step on ship, so that we don't feel immediately out of place and we'll know what to expect when we are there. How else do you learn, but by asking questions of the more experienced? Every single person ever cruising on Cunard had a ' first time'. btw, I was not a "contest winner". And...I can't wait to see Jersey Boys! Looks like it will be a lot of fun! Okay...and since I have never attended a show on Broadway - what's the acceptable dress code???? <--yes, I'm being serious! | |

| I would like to say that although I have cruised many different lines I have never been made to feel that I am less then welcome or that I some how do not fit the mold to cruise such & such a cruise line. That is until today when one person felt it necessary to judge the quality of persons that will cruising on QM2 Jul 1, 2009. Since it was stated that it is not based on income or job title how does one decide that someone is not good enough, proper enough or special enough to cruise Cunard. This sure smacks of elitism to me something I find repugnant. Oh and I promise to leave my corncob pipe back at the cabin with Granny! | |

| Well I'm glad things have calmed down over here. We are really looking forward to the July 1st cruise and meeting everyone. It will be our first chance to cruise with Cunard and we are looking forward to the more elegant stature of the ship. | |

| I saw Andy's comments too. I think judging someone by them asking about the dress code and seemingly based on nothing else, shows his class too. My problem, I admit it, is I'm trying to buy for weighing less than I weigh now, so I can't just walk into a store and try something on. Whatever I buy, will be temporary, as I wouldnt be to goal by then. That's why I didn't want to spend too much and trying to get clothes that can possibly be taken in. It's not a matter of not having been brought up to know which fork to use. I can't wait until I can get into a slinky, sexy formal gown to be honest. I certainly plan to be there way before the Valentine's Soltice cruise. Andy, I think you are missing out meeting us and wish you would come back and join us. We might surprise you. I admit I too am so looking forward to seeing NYC and the QM2. I'v travelled around most of the 50 states, but the far NE states are the ones I'v neglected. | |
