2009 - 4th of July on Queen Mary 2

First, I want to state this poll is being posted as speculation. At this posting date, February 17, 2008, we have no confirmation that Cunard will be returning to New York City for the 4th of July, HOWEVER, if the past few years have been any indication, then it's a pretty sure bet that it will happen for 2009.

Secondly, Cunard isn't always generous when it comes to group space, especially when it comes to these shorter cruises - which is usually the case with the 4th of July cruises. It's been my experience as a past group leader that IF Cunard offers group space on the shorter sailings, it goes fast, therefore, we need to organize and be ready immediately should group space be available for the July 4th, 2009 sailing.

Lastly, as far as itinerary, again, it's up in the air but, it is my guess it will be returning to New England and Canada as it has done the past several years. If you'd be interested in sailing on Cunard, on Queen Mary 2, for the 4th of July in 2009 please cast your vote!

As long as it doesn't interfer with the Alaska group in 2009, YES!

With this much notice, I'm sure it can be arranged that the Alaska and QM2 4th of July sailings don't interfer with each other, even if it is only a handful of people who plan to do both. Just make sure you email Tina to bring it to her attention.
