Jane. Maybe I should put it in my signature and get one going. Still thinking what to put there. I can't wait to see the QM2.

Yea, the way you did it, it doesn't take up a lot of space. I didn't want to have one of those half page signatures like I have seen elsewhere. thanks.

| DH & I are on this sailling, as well. It will be our first time on anything other than NCL. Looking forward to the experience! Still seems quite awhile away though. | |

| i don't list what cruises i've been on - just what i'm looking forward to. somehow the past doesn't seem to matter that much. it's the future cruises that give me something to live for. |

Still seems quite awhile away though. Pamela, Iv only done Princess, RCL and Carnival so this will be new to me too. 7 months doesnt seem that far away, it will be here before we know it. Half the fun is getting to know others on your roll call and the anticipation. I did a last minute cruise last spring and it lost something not having any time to anticipate the cruise imo. Pat thanks. Yes, once the cruise is over, its over and Im thinking about the next one, so just listing future cruises seems like a great idea. I just havent gotten around to it yet.

| Has anyone noticed that Cunard is offering 8-day transatlantic sailings to and from Boston. Seems like we'll have a bunch of new folks getting on and off in Boston! That's too bad. With it being a 5-day sailing as it is, it will be rather chaotic me thinks. Oh well! At least we'll be there. Happy New Year all! | |

Hmmm, wonder what the logic is behind this idea. As you mentioned, it sounds chaotic, especially for those of us getting off the ship for the day, while others board. I wonder if sales are that slow given the economy and this is one way to help boost them since once they board, we return to NYC and then the ship is off to Southampton: http://book.cunard.com/find/pb/cruiseDetailsItinerary.do?ship=QM&subTrade=&date=0709&duration=&orderBy=&pageOffset=&voyageCode=M917AWe shall see |

| Speaking of going on to Southampton... I am toying with the idea of staying onboard and sailing on with the QM2 from NYC. I am booked on the River Cruise next and it sails out on the 19th of July. Sailing over on the QM2 puts us in on the 12th. That gives us a full week of exploration and time to visit Europe and not have to fly 15 hours from Los Angeles. Give me a sailing anyday over a long plane ride. Even in business it's almost unbearable. Hmmmm... | |

15 hours in a plane I'm with you, give me a ship any day over a flight that long!! I keep thinking we should book the River Cruise and then we'll feel bad if we don't book Crystal after traveling all that distance. Who knows at this point, just don't count us out yet. If we do end up booking, we'll join you for that Transatlantic. Just curious are you going to fly to Budapest or renting a car or traveling by train? Don't worry we won't tag along, just looking for ideas if we decide to go away for the month. |

| Subject: Train or not to train to Budapest Mon Dec 29, 2008 11:19 pm | |
| We are planning to take the Eurostar (chunnel) to Paris from London and then most likely fly into Budapest. We'd hang out in Versailles for 3 days and then head out. We prefer to stay in Versailles, which is a suburb of Paris, due to its quiet and peaceful surroundings and Paris is only 30 min. away by one train. But staying in Paris is also awesome. In terms of getting to Busdapest, the train would be nice, but again, it would be LONG. Try OVERNIGHT! Here is the link if you would like to go by train. http://www.seat61.com/Hungary.htmAs you will see you need to take a train from Paris to Munich and then transfer on the Budapest. The Munich to Budapest part is an overnight train. I've done Paris to Sofia, Bulgaria by train. Once done is enough. The trip would be too slow and long. Rather I would like to just get to Budapest and head for the natural spring baths! And as for driving, with the amount of luggage we will have I can't see myself unpacking and repacking the car every night on the way to Budapest. So we'll fly. I think... Hmm... a car trip does sound nice though. We'll see. | |

| Ok 4th of July Cruisers - I know Nina is planning to come in to NYC on June 29th, who else is coming in early and are you extending your stay at the Hyatt or are you booking other hotels? The reason I am asking is that I would like to be at the hotel to help greet everyone coming in from out of town and help you to get your bearings a bit. | |

| I'm thinking of arriving the 28th, with the time difference and the long flight it will eat up a whole day. Just waiting for hotel prices and airfare options. | |

| Tina, Which airport did you say was the best to fly in to? Jet Blue has nonstops from Oakland to JFK, that look pretty reasonable. | |

| Jen, it's really a craps shoot - at any given time there could be back ups on any of the highways into the city. So, it's pick an airport and pray for good traffic!! JFK is a good choice - love Jet Blue myself - because we'll be leaving the ship to go home from Brooklyn and, it will be easier to get to either JFK or Laguardia from Brooklyn then trying to get over to Newark. | |

I booked the Radisson (with help from some of the posters here - thanks guys), for June 28, June 29th. The concierge will hold our luggage for $2 a bag (3 reviews complained the concierge had a charge, so Im sure we can leave the bags with him and go do something and come back). Its only a couple of blocks north on Lexington, so we should easily be able to wheel the luggage down to the Hyatt when its time to check in or anytime you want us to meet you at the Hyatt. We could help too if you need some help checking in others since we will already be there. Sounds like it should be easy to walk the suitcases down to the Hyatt, at least on the map it looks very easy and close. I'm pretty good with maps in general and getting around, so this should be easy. No busses!!

| some fashion-istas might insist on a different down for each formal night .... but you can use them more than once also for the 5 night cruise, all 5 nights will not be formal nights ... so you might get away with one or two gowns total. |
