| Thanks Marina! It all sounds great! Can't wait for the details! With all the new cruisers, I guess we will fit right in. Since it is a shorter cruise and more first timers, is it also a little more casual? | |

| Hi everyone, I don't get on here as often as I should, I'm Leanna - Nick's wife. Now you know why I'm not here much, he's always on the computer! I just wanted to pop on and say hi so I'm not a complete stranger | |

Actually it's HOT and HUMID, and I'm miserable (really). Weather over 70 degrees and I don't get along. LOL And it'll only be worse in Cozumel, but I'll figure out some way to suffer through it. I'll definitelly appreciate the cooler weather in Nashville when we get home (hubby won't, he'll pine for the Miami weather the second we get off the plane at home)!!! |

Hi Susan - you sound like me and your husband sounds like Nick. So, here's the deal - we'll keep cool with yummy frozen drinks and they can go bake themselves on a beach during the Christmas sailing, how does that sound? Very much looking forward to your review of Solstice - can't imagine how it's going to look in person vs. how it looks in the drawings. Wishing you a wonderful time!

I think it's been close to 80 here all week and gorgeous weather. It doesn't get much nicer than this imo in Texas where it is often way too hot in the summer. I had the a/c on today. When someone replied that I should dress appropriately for Canada for this cruise, I was kind of having trouble imagining what that meant. Bring a hoodie?? lol I guess that's not dressy enough for the QM2. That is about all I wear in the winter with the exception of a few days at a time when it gets colder and I still dont wear a real coat to run to the car.

| 80 here in Northern Cal this weekend too! Unusual for us though. But it's nice, and no humidity. | |

Yep, wind gusts up to 40 mph came in last night and its cold and blustery today. Should have kept my mouth shut!!! Bad luck. The weather just changed last night. brrrr. I lost stuff out of my purse today, gonnnnnnnnnnne. No idea what papers they were, no way to catch them, came out when I pulled out my keys. We were over the average for weeks, guess we were due to be under the average temps.

| Hey everyone! Thought I would give this thread a little It's been pretty quiet. I just received the Cunard DVD, I sent for. They sent it really quick, I think it took a week. Can't wait to check it out. | |

| Yes, you're right we've been paying more attention to the Christmas thread than this one and this sailing will be equally as exciting and fun! So come everyone who's sailing QM2 for 4th of July, let's start discussing our NYC plans and on-board plans.
One thing I'll bring up - for those coming in earlier than June 30, 2009, I know Nina and Tina are planning shopping for the ladies and we're going to attempt to get tickets for the Yankees - I say attempt because with the new stadium, tickets in 2009 are going to be tough to get.
So I'll start a poll to see how many are interested in a Yankees game on June 29 |

| unfortunately we won't be coming in earlier than June 30th (or at least as of right now we aren't planning it) .... but June 30th will be our 19th wedding anniversary, so this is one helluva way to celebrate!!! |
