| Sorry about the migraines, been on meds for 20+ years, rarely have one. When we retired I tried to go off the meds but the BP went up so guess I will be on meds, at least no migraines. | |

| Jen--are you recovered today? Story time--Ken and I met when we were 13, started dating at 16 (when my parents would allow) We got engaged in Dec '66 and set a date for Thanksgiving '67. Ken got scheduled to be overseas with the Navy at the time of our wedding so we got married in Sept '67 instead. We were together all of 6 mo. the first 1 1/2 yrs of our marriage. That's our story. | |

Reading all the stories on "How we Met" makes me think of an old fashion pj party.......where secrets are revealed.
Jim and I met via the United States Postal Service while he was stationed in Vietnam. Started writing to him in the fall of 1965, we finally met when he came home on leave in February of 1967 and were married in November of 1967. Oh, and I still have ever letter he sent me packed in a box up in the attic. But we Still have Macavity from T.S. Eliot's Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats. Oh, Patti, Remember to ask My Lady when she was born. (I couldn't possibly post the info' here).

| D the hoodies sound nice, the design is really cute. Well it didn't take long for them to wipeout the OBC uses did it. I noticed that tips were not included and of course that is one thing I use my for. Of course I do use it for Specialty Dining if the ship has it and the Casino but then how I am able to use it if they charge me 3% for getting cash in the Casino to play with, seems to me that is double dipping on their part. (charge me for getting cash and then won't allow to take what's not used up by end of cruise). | |

| I really hope that you can use use the OBC for tips because that's what we were planning to use ours for. I mean we wouldn't have them if they hadn't given us back the fuel supplement. Oh I almost forgot the stock OBC. We usually don't spend much a few goodies from the shops, a couple drinks, maybe a few pictures. They really are starting to get rediculous. d | |

| pmshirl posted this back to me when I asked about the Casino.......... Patty: You can set up an account with the VIP program ( I have never done this), sort of like linking your checking/savings account through the casino for advance money! Assuming ( like I said I have never and will Never do this) it is your money that is being withdrawn from your bank, there wouldn't be a 3% charge!
I have been sent the application to apply for it, but No TY! I just take enough of my own cash to cover my addiction! LOL! This is the 1st Casino cruise I took them up on, I have had many offers, but they were all for 4-5 night cruise's. This is for 11 nights. so here I go!
As far as tips go................you were never really supposed to be able to use your OBCs for tips................but they never made an issue out of it. Now...........I am sure that there will be a coding system used to differentiate between their money and yours.

d Di, I would think that the FS should be yours to spend which ever way you want. You did not ask them to refund the FS in the form of an OBC. If they don't, I would raise holy h*ll. I don't believe that you will be able to use your Shareholder OBC for tips.

| Evening ladies! Diane, I LOVE the Polar Bear embroidery pattern and if you are sure you are willing to take us on, I'd love to hire you to add it to a shirt! OK, 7's... not too many in the Rayfield history. As a matter of fact we are "minus 7". We got married on May 6, 1989. I thought it would be cool to be married at 7:00pm, so our invitation could say "5-6 @7 89". My mother wouldn't hear of having a wedding starting at 7:00pm though, so we were were minus the seven! LOL I have a chunk'o OBC for my cruise next month and since Ray isn't joining me it's ALL MINE!!! Wonder how I will spend it! LOL I've never had a problem yet, so don't think I have trouble starting now! | |

| Susan, I need to run a test of the bear first. Sometimes they just don't look as good on fabric as they do online. But, first my machine needs to go in for yearly cleaning and maintenance. So as soon as we get back from the cruise I send you a sample and you can decide if you like it. I think they'd look nice on denim too! d | |

| I guess it's a good thing we drink. We once had a $3.57 credit, on a short Monarch cruise. Other than that, we have had no trouble using up OBCs. No 7s here, really, other than meeting in the 70s... | |
