| I would be really irritated if I got turned away........but if someone didn't tell me I needed visa's, I wouldn't know to get one.....(other than listening to some of you talk about them).......I have zero clue which countries require a visa. Guess I better start studying up so I'm never one at a port getting turned away.... | |

Susan-I hate when Dennis has to sleep during the day and I have to be oh so quiet......and keep the dogs quiet too............. I liked EVERYTHING about the first banner better: colors, logo, etc, and don't quite know why the second one was developed, but I don't want two, so I installed the second one! LOL Kathy, Ray works night enough that I'm used to being quiet, but this is the first time that he didn't go to sleep in the bedroom and has camped out in the middle of the house so I feel like a can't do anything! Except chat with you guys of course!

| I like the wording on Jen banner and the Christmas trees with bears myself and I don't mind having two banners although I don't want the Zoo Crew to think we are excluding them and taking over cruise. We are joining them and having a Polar Bear Reunion . So what ever you'll decide that is fine with me. | |

| Whenever you travel to a place that is unfamiliar to you, always check to see if you need special documentation to enter the country you are visiting. www.traveldocs.com will give you all the information you need. | |

www.traveldocs.com will give you all the information you need. Thanks Patti, you are always so informative! As long as we don't stay in any of our European countries for more than 3 months, we are good with only a passport and not shots are required!

| Good Afternoon SPB's It's a grey cold day in De today. As we originally had the 46 nt Mariner booked I've been lurking on MMom's Thread. There are now a large # of people sitting off to the side with no visa. They are offering them a bus to Miami then overnight to go to the Brazilian Embassy tomorrow then be flown to St Maarten to join the ship. (at their own expense) I think it's decent of RCI to make the arrangements but I'll bet there will be those who blame them and want them to pay. |

| Well..........I finally made a decision on my digital camera.......wanted (didn't really need) a new 'small' digital.....I have my Canon rebel for most things but when we go to port, I don't like looking like a 'wealthy gringo' as they say! Wmart had a great price on a Kodak one with a 12x zoom and a 5x digital zoom...10mp I think it was....for 145.....Awesome deal.... Dh said he didn't really want to do much in excursions.....just hang at beaches this time so spend the $ on a camera....I didn't waste anytime of course!!! LOL Now that that's done, MAYBE i can get some cleaning done.....mmmmmmmmm well, I'll think about it anyhow... Much more fun chatting on here!!! j | |

| Jul, congrats on the camera. Personally, we've been pre-paying gratuities when we book the trips and then pay the above and beyond service in cash. I like to pay for as much before we leave as possible... hate coming home to a big credit card bill and we just don't take a lot of cash with us! Of course that was before the surcharge went into effect for taking cash out for the casino! Now I'll have to bring my gambling $$$ with me! Well, Ray woke up and we just got done discussing Europe with my Dad, so I guess I don't have any more excuses for not taking down the tree! BBL | |

| Here's a link to the diary. They didn't run out anything essential, but I thought it was very poor planning and response on their part. Anyway, as I kept telling people, we did have a very good time. I just don't think I would book a cruise on a ship that size with that many sea days again. They even ran out of entertainers! http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=890542 | |

| That's great feedback Jean! When we booked the Indy Transatlantic (which we've since cancelled) I thought it would be great to have all those sea days with all the amenities of such a large ship, but if we were doing the Med, I'd rather be on a smaller ship which could get into some smaller more intimate ports. I'm sure it's good to be home! | |
