| I really like Texas Tea but never win much. I did get three 7's once on a pig machine many years ago while on the Rhapsody of the Seas. | |

| Yea Michele! It worked! Wow....my friend, Travelgoddess is boarding the Mariner today...they knew they needed Visas for a long time and cancelled going on the Nov. 9th cruise on the Vision with us all...ashame that folks don't think about that...visas to foreign countries...and that isn't cheap either in most cases...plus you have to relinguish your passport for awhile too. Karen said it was a real fiasco for the D+ desk when they started to upgrade....they got an OS and a GS for all 3 segments. Thanks again....I feel less frustrated now!!!! mar~ | |

| Susan, that's our thinking exactly. You can't beat the itinerary we have on Quest in May (although they could have stayed all day in Venice on the overnight instead of departing at noon), so I think we'll be very happy with the AZ product. I got a Nikon camera last month. It's what they're calling a hybrid SLR - it has an 18x zoom, but you don't have to change lenses. I love it! Some day I may want a true SLR camera, but watching people hauling those giant lenses around the ship didn't make me jealous, LOL. We still carry the little Sony for night time, since the Nikon won't fit in my purse. | |

| It's nice to know I'm not the only camera freak with more than one!!!! My dd thinks I'm NUTS! But......I need the big lenses for whale watching, eagle spotting ect....then something (like the new hopefully) for going into ports, and something little for dinner and around the ship at night... Pshewwwwwww nice to know I'm normal........ Ok......maybe not quite.........started ironing for the cruise....and thought I had the spray starch only to find out it was the scrubbing bubbles......SOMEBODY put it away where I keep my iron instead or putting it in the cupboard it belonged in...YIKES..... (guess I need to pay more attention than just grab and spray!!!) NOW I have laundry to do tooooo........LOL ......at least they are VERY clean!!!!!!! | |

Susan, When did this happen and how much is the charge? As for tips, we pay in cash and have not yet been allowed an RCCL visa owing to location (so they say). - critterchick wrote:

One of the best reasons for visiting Venice is trying to find your hotel down a dark ally after a little vino. The camera sounds like my panasonic f28. Very light with a cracking lens.

| Sorry everyone, I never meant there to be two banners.
I just didn't think my original one was very good, I was just playing around, so I asked Michele to re-do it. She has a better program for it than I do. She did say she would be happy to change anything on it, so lets give her a few days do give us some choices, and then we can pick one banner.
Is that okay with everyone?
Other wise if you want to just use my original one go ahead, that's fine. I'm sure Michele if fine with it. She was just doing me a favor.

Susan, When did this happen and how much is the charge? They now charge 3% to take cash out in the casino. Some folks have had luck getting cash at the pursers desk without a fee, but others state they are charged 3% there as well. I'm not sure how long ago the fee was implemented. We haven't sailed since last Spring so it was after that... Patti will probably know for sure! Susan is correct.............3% service fee if money is taken out of the casino against your SeaPass account. Some ships have a sign by the cashiers window in the Casino, some do not. In September had no problem getting money from the Purser............no additional fee charged. If we have a leftover OBC it automatically appears as a credit on our credit card. We pay our tips in cash............just don't trust that pre-pay gratuity thing. Like to make sure that the person we are giving the money too is actually getting it. I have a gut feeling that in the not too distant future if you have unused OBC on your SeaPass account that was generated by RCI...........it will be lost if not used. All OBCs are coded, so they know which are theirs and which are from Gift Certificates, TAs and Visa Points. The latter three you are entitled to receive in the form of cash if not used because it didn't come out of RCI's pocket.

| Jean, just read your journal. I think you just needed some SPB's on board with you and Don and boredom would never have been a problem! We paid the 3% fee last June and again last month. I don't like to carry around to much cash. This last time, I rented a private van for a tour in Mazatlan, and they would not take a credit card, so it used all my cash.
