Thank you...I do what I can. Besides...I have to protect the Polar Bears. You Bears are part of what makes the Cruise Freeks sooo great!!! Oh and I've always wanted to bann someone. Felt good being on the other side of that botton! Thanks Ron, the bears and cubs appreciate it...........but unfortunately there is something called "Google"..............and that is where said person supposedly got a lot of information. Well, Patti if I had to guess what happened said person googled then came lurking. Which is why he commented about tos violations on another board.
He thought he was being cute.
d My next question because I'm a dummy I guess...........but what are tos violations? When I saw that my blood started to pump rather quickly. I have no idea. As I said I'm sure he thought he was being cute that he knew something we didn't. d

| Kathy I just saw a tip on one of the Morning Shows. The guy said if you get your phone wet you should bury it in rice and leave it there for a day or two and it will dry up. He swore it works. May be worth a try. Just home from the Bday party. Utter chaos. A bunch of little girls running around. We had fun though. My oldest GK Stephanie turned 15 Lindsay is 8 and then there's me. Lori DD bribed Steph into staying and supervising the young -uns for the sleep over so she can go to bed. She's going to take her shopping tomorrow in payment. Can't wait to hear about that. |

| So Sheila, it was a 3-way B-Day party, not just for you???? Bob does owe you a B-Day cruise. I say book away! It's cold here again this morning, with heavy frost over everything, but the sun is shining and it should warm up. Have a great Sunday everyone! | |

| Morning everyone..........it's another beautiful sunny day here and really quite pleasant outside. Might replant some grass later this afternoon.
Sheila, I can understand that they start at the top and work their way down........though they didn't do it that way for our Alaska cruise. If so, WN would not have gotten an invitation as she was only D by her Celebrity status. Oh well, we shall see.
Jim has gone for his computer classes and won't be back until about 2.........so I am going to take advantage of his absence and wash the walls in my kitchen dining area.
First I must go check out what other comments have been made on the other side. Gosh those folks really need a life................They wouldn't know the truth if it hit them in the face.

| Good Afternoon SPB's Finally got all my thoughts together so here is a recap of the cruise...Hope you enjoy, if you have any questions ask away!We had a fantastic time on the Grand Princess, she is still in very good shape...We had very few children on board due to the 14 nt. itinerary. The crowd was approx. 50 and over, a few scooters but no walkers...Our favorite ports were St. Kitts, Curacao and Grand Turk, we were a bit disappointed with Trinidad and St. Vincent was our least favorite...Barbados was very expensive and La Romana had nothing to offer for us...Of course Aruba and St. Thomas were great as usual...The entertainment on board was fabulous as there was always something going on at night, you could chose from 2 shows nightly (comedians, hypnotist, magician (I was called up on stage) singers and of course the production shows (there were 4)...There were several live bands to dance to, karaoke, or one of the game shows...Maurizio was the pianist/entertainer who got the crowd going and he was so popular they kept moving him to different larger venues to accomadate the masses!!! Trivia was 3 times per day...Movies Under the Stars (MUTS) was also a highlight (shown twice nightly), there were pillowed covers on the lounge chair cushions along with a fringed wool blanket and popcorn delivered right to your seat!We took advantage of this feature after seeing the early show in the Princess Theatre and saw Doubt, The Dark Knight, Body of Lies and the new James Bond movie...The food was wonderful and there were several choices of where to eat...The Horizon Court is open 24 hours, at 3PM there is Ice Cream with different toppings to choose from, chips, salsa, guacamole etc...Pizza (which was great), Hamburgers (cooked to order), Brats and Hot Dogs were at the grill on the pool deck... We had open dining and hooked up with 2 other couples from CC which made for pleasant dining nightly...We did try the steakhouse and we both agreed that Chops and Portofino's was better...The cookies are also better on Royal CaribbeanThe Casino was never crowded and the tables were always empty although the slots were busy...There are 4 pools on board and I only had trouble one time finding a lounge chair...The Cruise Director James from Australia saw my visor and asked if I would like a princess name tag and what I would like on it, I replied of course I would and cruise director would be nice, so I am now the proud owner of an official Princess name tag with Jill Cruise Director USA on it which I have put on my lanyard, I did get stopped by several passengers asking if I was the new CD as James' last day was Friday...Think I will wear it on the Freedom in November and see if Royal will make me an offer I can't Refuse! All in all, it was a GREAT cruise as the weather was fabulous and the seas were mostly calm... | |

| Jill, sounds like a fabulous cruise! And I love your new name tag and am very jealous! The closest I've come to that is getting a Celebrity "Pool Butler" shirt that one of the bar servers "sold" to us for $5.... SHHH! Don't tell! | |

| Afternoon, I was up at 2 working didn't post then as I figured you all were sleeping and probably didn't care what the heck I was doing. BTW at 2 this morning it was cold and foggy in Dallas. I've since had breakfast, lunch, a couple of naps a trip to Target and I think I'm good to go for the rest of the day. The sun is finally out and it's starting to show signs of warming. Ron, do what the rest of us do go buy a new one? On the whole RC thing I guess I don't get it. I mean I'm not one do I care? Not really have I missed anything I don't think so, I live vicariously through Jill. And trust me the stuff she has received has not been free, there is always a price tag attached. Even if someone gives you a free cruise (Liberty Pre-in) you still have to take off work, get to the port, get stuff together to go, RCCL does not do that stuff for you. And the person (censored myself there) that wrote the article is the same one that stirred the pot over you know who. So we know how trustworthy she is. Anyway got the embroidery machine in high gear need to get some stuff packed up to send out. Y'all have a good day now ya hear! d | |
