Radiance 9-14-07 Polar Bear Express "Special"!

So I found a whole list of Vegas Webcams we could have the gals call us when they're driving around "topless" and they could wave to us?

Yeah I thought it was a good picture too! Loved talking to him, he is just so friendly but I'm sure he needs to be because of the business that he is in. But you hear that so many of them aren't. So today I'll search for another picture from the cruise and swap it out.

Still cold and wet here in Dallas but it's supposed to get warmer over the weekend.

Mine started out as a true Friday the 13th.... left my house and got to the end of my block and a cop had a car pulled over and the car was stopped in the middle of the intersection! The bone-head didn't bother to turn the corner and get out of the way.... then I drove a couple miles and ran into another cop car. It was guarding the RR crossing where the gates were flashing and stuck in the up position! Man, I hope that's all I have to deal with today!!!

Off to my last shift at the shelter soon. It's such an eye opener. I met a guy with a Masters in Science and several others with unbelievable life stories. Intelligent well spoken men who got off the tracks somehow. The one that breaks my heart is the one who is elderly and had half his skull missing making his arm unusuable and his leg very weak on the opposite side. His speech is affected but he carries on a very intelligble conversation about his time as a scientist at Dupont. He knows incredible thing about plants and foods. I've been listening to him all week. I don't understand our system that has this man on the streets from 7am til 5pm every day. When the shelter closes in the Spring he'll be sleeping rough too. I don't know how he came to be in this position but it seems to me he should be placed somewhere to get medical care and a clean place to live. I will talk to the shelter manager tonight. He did tell me he likes his sugar in a pint bottle so I'm sure that's part of the problem but surely we can do better by him. His injury is from being hit by a car. Thanks for letting me rant.

Jimmy Boy had a little surgery yesterday, and will not be fathering any puppies in his lifetime. He came home last evening and is doing well.

Virginia - So special of you to take Alex to Alaska. How big is your duffel?

Diane - Wow...you are the champ of web cams. I think the best one would be the Polo Towers, or any of the Strip cameras. LOL. If Jul can make it, we'll do and b2b on the strip.

Hi Chris! I thought about bringing him in May but since I booked him for the April cruise I didn't want to take him out of school for another week. He will be on independent study in April but I didn't want to do that with Alaska. Hey I can't take it with me. The cabin will be a big difference from the May cruise But that will be okay.......... Haven't been in an oceanview since the Monarch last Oct. Will mean forcing myself to get up early every morning and get dressed so I can go see what is happening outside.

I saw when this person registered and I had to laugh! Should be easy to ignore... no posts yet!

Well, thankfully I didn't have any additional Friday the 13th episodes! Just loads of work to do and didn't get home until 7:00 tonight! Plan to relax this weekend. I'm getting my hair cut tomorrow and that's about it!
