| Evening everyone.............well I will not have to stay up to see the clock strike midnight. It is snowing now. Ya gotta just love the weathermen. OK, I entered the I Never Win Anything contest. The prizes sound really nice and so close to home! But I have a question...........it says in each prize category that up to 4 people in a cabin. So, does that mean that if I win, Jim and I have to share our cabin with two other people? I'll warn you all now...............I snore!! Susan........does your office have a Christmas Party/do you go out to dinner? Might be a great time, after the boss has a few drinks, to lay the river cruise on her/him. Just a thought. | |

| Patti.......no, I think it mean u can take two other people if you want (I would think you'd have to pay their fares tho...not sure )...I didn't really read the info on it. | |

| I entered that one, too, since it was easy, LOL. I read it that you could pack the cabin with 4 people on their nickel. But I didn't read it too closely, either. Sign of the times: I've had 2 credit card accounts closed by the issuing banks because I haven't used them for years. It's a jolt, although they swear that it won't impact my credit ratings. One was a card I've had since 1980, so I have to think that it won't help. Next I suppose they'll be reducing the credit limits. I've heard of Amex doing that to their corporate customers, based entirely on the type of business, having nothing to do with payment history or creditworthiness. What's the world coming to? | |

| Patti, I might have to try the XMas party idea... our office party is on Friday, but to save $$$ we are having it at the office after hours. Not sure about the amount of alcohol if any being served, but it's supposed to go until 8:00pm. Not sure they'll get too many folks hanging around until then without some liquid encouragement! Jean, Ray had a BP gas credit card closed a couple months ago because we hadn't used it. When we got the notice letter, I called and instigated the cancellation, that won't hurt your credit rating, but I'm with you, I have to think if they closed the account it sure can't help you! Patti, the 4 to a cabin thing is only for Polar Bear... you need to fill your den with other SPB's! I need to pack a few of you with to come with me on the River Cruise. Ray is not too sold on it... no casino, no pool, no night life... he can't see the fab opportunity it is ... yet! I've got to work on him some more! | |

| Hi everyone! Finally home, the fog never cleared up here today.
I was up late last night, or rather until 3:30 this am, waiting for my son to get home from Disneyland. They were stuck on I-5 because of fog, doing 25 to 30 all the way. It took them over 10 hours to get home.
I know everyone has most of their 2010 cruising schedule planned, but I talked to Tina today about helping me find a cruise or trip to auction for the Non profit I do part time work for. She has generously offered to make the 2010 Alaska cruise a charity cruise, and also donate a cabin to auction off! Isn't that great! So, keep it mind, maybe we could have a spb reunion after all. And hopefully we will have the full details soon.

| Jean........a credit card that you are not using does not help your credit rating at all.....in actuality it can hurt you if you are wanting to borrow $ since the amount of the credit line they consider to be $ that you could owe.... It's always recommended to not have a card that you are not using or at least charge $20 a month and pay it off each month. It shouldn't affect anything........ j | |

We'll I just booked our room at the Sandals resort for our son's wedding now keep your fingers crossed for a cheap airfare to come along. Like the one they have now $193 R/T DFW/MBY. I could swing with that . Anyway need to get some stuff done. d

| That would be great Kathy! I don't even know how I will afford it, I'm going to need a third job pretty soon! I did notice that our cruise list does not have any bookings from April to Sept of 2010.............. Hint, hint, hint! | |

| Hi SPB's... Lost two posts over the weekend and was logged out this evening. Wow, you've all been very busy. BIG CONGRATULATIONS TO MURPHY!!!!! What a fabulous cruise. If your boss has even half a heart he will give you the time. Love the Christmas avatars...will try again to get one loaded for myself. Patti - Martha SNORES TOO!!! Ginny - Glad you and Alex had a great time...another cruise addict in the making. Sure could get used to working only three days and having four off, but it's a nightmare at work when we get back. Hope tomorrow is better. Good luck to all of you in the contests...Must check out the one that requires no thought, research, or calculating. | |

| Chris............you'd better enter..............and Martha too. (Edit...I checked and you did). Wouldn't that be something if we both won!!! It says an RCI cruise out of Bayonne, but it doesn't say which ship (probably because they don't know yet ). That makes it even more exciting. Now Holiday Cruise 2010............I am assuming that is over Christmas. And 2 days pre-cruise in NYC.........OMG, that would be awesome as I have never been to NYC. OK.....calm down Pat.........you aren't going to win, cause you really never do win anything. Congratulations Diane.............now the FUN begins!! Good luck to all the SPB's that have entered the I Never Win Anything contest.

| My other aggravation today was getting an unsolicited copy of the Cooking Light 2009 cookbook. I order it every year, and would have ordered it this year, but they just sent it to me and charged me nearly double the price they're charging on their website!!! So I did a little online legal research and there's a CA law that says unsolicited merchandise is a gift. So I sent them an email advising them of the same. Now Don will have to order the book from now on, since I'll probably be blacklisted. grrrrrr | |

| Morning all another beautiful day here in Dallas. I also receive a yearly cookbook mine is from Reiman and it's for the "Taste of Home" magazine. I used to get the magazine now I just get the cookbook. I receive the Viking River Cruises catalogs and we've talked about doing one of those but just haven't. I'd love to do the one that Susan is doing. That area of Europe is beautiful and to see it that way must be grand. d | |

grrrrrr If you dont want to be blacklisted, maybe offer to pay the price shown on their website and call your credit card company. Chances are if its less then $40 they will just write it off, costs them that much to process a dispute over the charge. It will reduce your worth/value some to your credit card company (they do keep track). If they just sent you a bill, call them and see about compromising on the price rather than just not paying it at all? Yes, its supposed to nice and warm here in Dallas today, still waiting for it to warm up. Yippee.

Climbed Dunn's Falls...what a blast....try that if you have time. I am sore from working at the Warehouse yesterday...but what a blessing to be a part of something doing great things for poor children around the world. We do it every year. Today we go see the Chiropractor, though! Dress rehearsal for the Christmas Concerts tonight.... Mar~

Mar~ We did DRF when we were there a couple years ago with the "kids" on Rhapsody. We're looking forward to the few days we'll get to spend there. The kids have a few friends that are flying in for the wedding and surprisingly Bob says his Dad (my ex) and his Step-Mother and his 2 half-sisters are going to try to be there. Just checking the West Texas Oil futures and it's well below $50 so it looks like we may be getting our fuel supplement back on our Voyager cruises. Also, John got the email from RCL back yesterday stating our OBC credit has been applied to our cruises as stock-holders. Can I hear a Yee-Ha! d
