I see where some are bringing their kids... any of these kids in the 7 year old range?

I will have my 12 andf 16 year old girls with me.

My son will be almost 13 and my daughters 17 and 20.

Wish my daughter could make it ... she'll be 19 at the time.

My girls will be there. 19 and 16. Not sure we will bring them back..but we are taking them.

My 19 year old couldn't make it, the 16 year old is cruise out, he is cruising with me in April.

My daughters will be 5 & 2 and then of course Bennet My 19 year-old "baby" sister will be coming too. We should plan something for all these teenagers to meet up. Will the teens be joining you parents for the dinner and show on the 30th? Or do they want to be let loose in NYC? We could plan a private "City by Night" tour for them otherwise.

I can't tell my19 year old about this - she'll kill me

In the case of my family, we're skipping the pre-cruise and just arriving in time for the actual cruise. I don't have enough vacation time from my day job otherwise.

Perhaps a little "Junior Cruise Freeks" party onboard then the first day. What are some of their interests? Would they go to a "Coffee Bar party" at Sir Samuels in the afternoon before being sent on a "Find The ..." hunt all over the ship to help them get familiar with it? (Such as find the secret elevator, the red stairwell, a small room with cream furniture, a place where they play cards while moving forward etc) Would they like having their own activity?

I think I need to on that "Find the...." hunt! Might be cool to explore with a goal other than just exploring!

I think the teens should have their own activities. God knows I don't want them under my feet the whole time. Maybe we can duct tape them to a light pole in NYC and pick them up on the way back? While I like the idea of a scavanger hunt I my teens are just waaay too cool for that kind of thing. Or at least they think they are. One is into sports the other is into theatre. You couldn't have two kids any further apart. lol. Of course if they become too much of a problem we will send them on a scavanger hunt for the anchor...while it's at the bottom of the ocean.
