Ginny Rae was on the Polar Bear Express, but I guess she hasn't posted over here.

You could add March 10, 2010, Jean on Millenium Down Under. We're going to do the one way from Auckland to Sydney. It's our compromise - I wanted to do it all on land & Don wants to do it on a cruise. The full circumnavigation of OZ looks fabulous, but I really want to see New Zealand.

Sheila, the other picture was Reyno's birthday picture. I don't know how to post a photo in the message...

Jean, your cruise sounds wonderful also. Just remember, you're going to need a Visa also!

Kathy....more add-ins for your cruise calendar...we just booked the Vision Mex. Riv. on Nov 9, 2008 with Jean & Dirtgirl and Pete & Karen and our friends, Sharon and Mark. Also, booked the Mariner Mex. Riv. in Sept 2009 (the 6th)

While on the phone I asked about the combining of a savings certificate with the OBC of a Next Cruise and they said NO!
But we got a Sr. Disc. on Vision....Whoo Hoo, and a Savings Cert. on Mariner. So we are happy.
And....by the way, we did use the NC for the Vision and you get charged the fuel chg. amt. at the time you booked the NC!!!

Jean...New Zealand was my "layover of choice" while flying for United. Love it there. Have friends that live in Auckland. We spent a 3 week vacation with them one year and toured their lovely islands. You will love it.

Didnt work that way with me..........I bought a NC back in Jan......booked the SS for Oct a few weeks later($5 FS)....changed it to the SS for July 4th in May.......thought it stayed the same till I noticed on MY CRUISES,it said I still owed $18 after I made final payment and my booking confirmation said ZERO........when I called about something else on that cruise the week I went, they brought it to my attention I owed $18($3 more per day x 2 of us)........I didnt think it was very fair since no one had told me I owed and in fact, my confirmations said zero on one.......and minus 80 on another(the price dropped and they credited my card)............BUT what could I do??? I paid the $18 rather than argue about it at the pier..........

Thanks for the links..........I did a search of his screen name and found the one where is was anything but pleasant. Did read the "diaper" one earlier today.

As far as C&A SC I really think it depends on who you talk to............though that was how it is supposed to be as of July 1...........if you have an OBC attached to a booking and a C&A SC comes along, you had to decide on one or the other you could not have both! Now, I am sure that FLC will dispute that.

But who knows...................

I did put out the bait though after you posted Kathy on my "Offers vs Benefits" thread. Just want to see what/if he says anything.
