| Hey guys. A friend of mine sent me this YouTube video. I think it's something that everyone should see. I also think it is a lesson we all need to learn. I hope you enjoy it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cBtFTF2ii7U |

| omg - ron that video was awesome. it left me in tears. the unfortunate thing for tara is that dogs have much shorter lives than elephants and what will happen to her when that happens. that was so heartwarming and touching. |

| Ron...
Thanx... the video was heart warming. Left me with one of those good feelings you can only feel inside (I'm sure you guys know what I mean).
I agree with the reporter on his last comments...if they can do it why can't the world do it.
I will share this clip with friends and family also.

| Hi Kim,
I hope I am not boring everyone! I would love to see more pics of your fur babies when you can post. I so miss having a boxer around, but after losing 3 in a row, it is too hard right now. We also like to be able to just get on the Harleys and ride, and not worry about who is taking care of the dog. Maybe in the future some time.
Take Care, |

| jackie - each time i have had to put one to sleep i have sworn up and down and sideways - no more. and last time it was about a year when i started going to shelters every weekend. and every weekend my husband would say thought you weren't getting another dog? and every weekend i'd swear up and down that i am not. so when he said well why are we going to shelters every weekend then? i was like let's take this little guy. and no matter how hard it is to go on a 2 week cruise and pay $500 for a kennel i just keep doing it. somebody shoot me please. |

| It's so hard to say no, isn't it! My daughter keeps sending me links to more puppies like Minion & Iggy, and I keep telling her to stop it! I look at them, and it takes alot of convincing myself to get away from the computer, close the link! Their faces are just too much! Once you have them, no amount is too much to take care of your babies |

| Lets see We have Holley (named after Holley Carburetors) - she is 11 - Miniature Pinscher Maggie is 4 - Miniature Pinscher (no her ears don't usually stick up) They are not cropped and usually just fold down - very cute. Gracie (on right) is 1- SPCA rescue. Part Lab and the other part, I am not sure. Savanna is our other one, but officially she is my air force daughters dog. She is also a Miniature Pinscher and is 4 years old. We had two Great Danes but they died about a year and 1/2 ago. Someone poisoned them. Their names were Faith and Joy. | someone who would poison your dog makes me sick. we had a problem in our area quite a few years ago where dogs were being stolen out of unlocked yards and used for fighting dogs to kill. it was really sad and my one dog used to like to stay out so i built a 12'x12' chainlink fence pen with a top so you couldn't climb in and take her out and locked it and locked my fence and it wasn't anywhere you could see in the yard if you looked through the fence. i mean that is crazy to have to go through that but to make her safe i would. people that hurt children and animals are just sick. |

Take Care, Jackie.. How could those cute little "I love you no matter what" faces and eyes ever be boring. Never!!! Everyone keep the pics coming. I gotta get mine in too. Carole...Love the pics also. The one with them on the back of the couch looking out the window is ditto here except it is two dogs and a cat . Sorry to hear that about the danes. Don't understand how people can be so cruel with animals and kids. Gets me fired up. Kim | |

| O.k. Time for some new pics. My Daughter babysits a little one during the day.The seat the puppy is in is actually a floor swing, it sits lower to the ground. Well, Jami went to the bathroom, and dogs knocked down the gate she has up ( baby had gone home already) and Iggy jumped into the swing. Caught red-handed! Seems to like sitting in it whenever he can. |

| Hi Pat, Thank you! That little face, it just kills me! I know how your mind tends to wander through all the worst scenarios when you are away from your babies. They will be just fine though. |

| it's just that i know how good my dog is but my father-in-law gates him in the kitchen and i think it's all the time. so this time when i picked him up he said grizzie is such a good dog he is welcome here any time. i don't even have to gate him anymore. one time, he doesn't have a yard, he puts him on a long lead outside and he told me (thought he would keep this to himself) that the lead came off the hook but it got caught under one of the tires on the car in the driveway. so this means he could have gotten away and run over. he doesn't know how to walk down the street because i have a decent size yard for him. |

| We're about to become 'doggy parents' after nearly 40 years of being owned by cats (21 years with my Siamese, 18 with my recently deceased Abbysinian) We always had 'cat sitters' come and stay with our kitties.
What do people think about sitters versus good well run kennels while you are cruising? Our new babies (2 males) will be coming home with us at 16 weeks old and they are Papillons - we'll be home and doing puppy kindergarten and then obedience school from late April until the next trip in September, and we're set for that trip with our regular house sitters, but don't have any one lined up (yet) for our Feb. 14 Solstice trip or the June/4th of July Caribbean Princess one and we were considering a kennel as a possibility. Our cat was far to neurotic to even think about anything but staying at home! |

| Donna, just like looking for day care, when you board them, go check out all the kennels first, so you can see first hand where they will be spending their"vacation".You can also check them out through various places like: BBB., or kennel club recommendations in your area. Maybe you will be able to find a sitter before your trip. |

| I've got a chihuahua named Kiwi. I'm a BIG dog lover!!! There's a great place in Las Vegas, called the Animal Inn, if you bring your dog with you. They have a separate place for cats, too, which is really nice. Have you all heard about Hilton? Because of Dog Hotel, many Hilton hotels now allow you to bring your dogs with you. There are rules, which you can find on the website. Candy | |

| i like to leave my dog with a kennel because he doesn't play with others well and a sitter who doesn't have a dog isn't really doggy proof and i'm always afraid he'll get away in a strange neighborhood... |

| I might be a good idea, when you find a kennel you approve of, to let them stay over night one night... this summer... just to get to know the place. My Newfy just walks right in the door and through the door to the kennel area...(trying to grab a bone on the way, lol)... he has nooo problem with it. My Dane is a tad crazy... she goes, but not quite so easily. You can calso request that the two dogs board together... | |
