| Kim, they are just that! I think the reason we have been so drawn to this breed is that they look like little boxer puppies, which are our first loves. What are your dogs names, they are so sweet! Jackie |

| Hey Gang!! I just wanted to share something with you. Eukanuba has a new dog food out called Naturally Wild. This stuff is great!! My oldest dog is 13. She has food allergies and arthritis. Normally we get her food from the vet. We got coupons to try the Naturally Wild about a month ago. In a month she has put on weight, her allergies are all but gone, and she is starting to act like a puppy again. If you want to read about it here is the link: http://www.eukanuba.com/EukGlobal/US/en/jsp/product/productDetail/New%20Zealand%20Venison%20&%20Potato.jsp?id=1051 I'm not one to push a product but this is good stuff. You can get at Pet Smart or probably any pet store. Just thought I would share this with you. |

| Ron, thank you very much! I will pass it along to my Daughter. Nothing but the best for my Grandpuppies! When we had the boxers, Eukanuba is what we always fed them. How many fur babies do you have? |

We have 3 Skyler (13) Australian Shepherd/Lab Chrissy (5) Carne Terrier/mix Sapphire (4 months) German Shepherd/Rottie/Chow Chrissy is my rescue. She was found on the side of the road left for dead. She was used to breed puppies. Once she had them they were taken from her and she was abandoned.. She was in bad shape when I adopted her. I'll never forget the first time I saw here. SHe was ugly and not at all what i was looking for. However, when I walked into the room she walked up to me and sat between my feet. She just sat there on my feet and wouldn't move or let the other dogs near me. I just sat there looking at her. She looked up with her big brown eyes and I was done. One of the first nights home we were watching Animal Planet. The puppies on the TV were crying. When Chrissy heard them she walked up to the TV and started crying too. She was looking around the TV for her puppies. Now 4 years later we have a new Puppy Sapphire and Chrissy is so happy to have a puppy to play with!!! |

I'm not one to push a product but this is good stuff. You can get at Pet Smart or probably any pet store. Just thought I would share this with you. My Tuffy, a toy poodle, is very fussy when it comes to eating. Does this food come in a small size, meaning very small pieces? Tuffy won't eat anything unless it is very tiny!
Lois
Hi Lois, Well they are pretty small pieces. My little puppy has no problem with the food. She's been eating it from about 8 weeks old. Of course this is the same puppy that ate two moose slippers, ipod, cell phone charger, bar stool leg, tennis ball, underwear, and then tried to eat my cat for dessert. So yes the pieces are small to me but it depends on the dog too. I will let you in on a little secret my vet shared with me too. The puppy we have was found in a dumpster with 5 of her little brothers and sisters. They were all in pretty poor health. Sapphire had the worst case of dandruf I've seen. So my vet told me to get a spray bottle, add a tablespoon of olive oil and fill the rest with water. Then spray a little on the dog food. It's been two weeks, no sign of the dandruf. Her coat has a high shine as well. On top of that it softens the dog food just a little so the puppy had no problems.

Jackie They just turned 2 years old November 4, 2008. They are named Cruzer (of course our fav way to vacation) and Gunney (we live in Jacksonville, NC which is home to Camp Lejeune Marine Corps Base and Mike and I were both military children). We also have a cat ... 8 years old named Socks whom they just adore. We are one big happy family and we love it!!!! Kim | |

| Great names! Isn't it funny how well dogs and cats really get along. I have a friend who has 4 cats, and 2 big dogs, a German Shepard & a Yellow Lab. A great big happy family they all are! At one time, I had 3 boxers all at once. I called it my herd! We had a big Astro van and the dogs always went with me everywhere. I do miss them. |

| Only one of our Boxers ever liked water. She would jump right in the tub for you. But never did any of the others ever like it at all. Their favorite thing to do was sometimes take off running in the fields behind our house, and roll in the fresh liquid poop the farmers would spread. You could smell them coming from a mile away! |

| For some reason my dogs don't mind grooming. I always joke that the dogs get to the groomer more than I get to the hair salon. The bigger dogs go to a groomer. My small one, Mia, I just stick her in the laundry room sink. The secret is not to drown their face in water. I leave her head for last. And I immediatly cover her head with a towel so she doesn't shake. |

| Yup, your right, they hate water in the face. But yet they like the wind blasting them in the face at 60 miles an hour! |

| Our dog is one of the few dogs that doesn't like the wind blasting him in the face. He's a rat terrier, and his ears are so big that they catch all the wind.. he absolutely hates it. And now our other dog, a rat terrier beagle, is scared to stick his head out of the car when other cars drive by. Talk about weird. | |

| That is funny, I think yours are the first I have ever heard of that doesn't like sticking their heads out the window. My duaghters dog minion, looks so funny when she does that as her eyes just about bug out of her head, and her hangy jowls fill up with air, its quite a sight! |
