| Interesting. I hope they get off OK.
What happens in the wake of an incident such as this ? Is it like when an Aircraft has an incident where a national body such as the NTSB investigates and then publishes a report, etc ? | |

| I am sure the cruise line investigates but they could keep findings to themselves. I wonder if there is there a body that requires an investigation and a subsequent report to the public ? | |

| I sailed on the USS Lamoure County and went back the next year to sail on her again ,and couldnt because it had hit a coral reef and was damaged. The U.S. Navy said she was too old to fix so they towed her out to sea and sank her off the coast of S. A. Its the law of large numbers. There are so many ships constantly out to sea its going to happen. Ferries have an even worse track record as they sail even more frequently. PS Those Antartic cruises are exspensive 5K to 9k pp but they are pretty cool. I will go on one someday. one. | |
