At least they are happy! I imagine there would be some "adult flavored" beverages being consumed at a great rate. Just hope they don't run out of supplies.

I grew up on the St Lawrence and even sailed on it
USS Fahrion (FFG) .People under estimate that river and
its powerful currents and icing in the winter months. We
loose divers, snowmobilers, and boaters every year.

It has also had quite a history with everything from
U-Boat attacks during WWII to the sinking of the
Empress of Ireland which claimed 1012 lives.

Its a river not to be trifled with thats for certain.

I just never thought about such freezing conditions on the St Lawrence but of course it is in Northern country! Much like the Red River in North Dakota... maybe a "little" bigger.

Yea...the Red is frozen over from November to May!
