- Now, is there somewhere in your area that teaches SCUBA? It only takes a few days to earn your Certification (C-Card). A little classroom, a few swimming pool dives, then on to the deeper water for the cert. Once you are certified...you can rent gear and dive whenever you want. There are many additional classes one can take as well...if you choose to.
We may be landlocked here in Tennessee, but there is a PADI certified dive school about 10 miles or less from my home. I just need doc to sign off on a medical cert, and I'm good to go. |

| I'm PADI certified, but I don't get out diving NEAR enough. This is where Patrick saves our bacon! He'll keep us safe, right ???? | |

| Well that was some great news seeing Nina and Bennet this morning, wasn't it?
Now, since you're on the topic of SCUBA - say a big chicken like me - wants to give it a try. How do I even go about this - I know I should go to a SCUBA school but, is there anything special I need to know? |

| Nick, How long can you hold your breath under water? j/k In some ports "learn to SCUBA" might be offered as an excursion, but that will limit you as to when and where you can dive. In ports that don't offer a "learn to" excursion you'd be outta luck if you aren't already dive certified. Getting certified isn't too hard really, you just need to find a SCUBA school close to you and make the time to do it. |

| Nick... PADI is a major dive certifier. Here is a link: http://www.padi.com/scuba/default.aspx Learning is quite easy, only takes a few days and a couple hundred bucks. Cert is good forever, and allows you to rent dive gear, and dive safely. | |

| Oh come on Susan, I'm going to ask Nina to put Leanna and I next to YOUR cabin!! Just teasing of course - I told Nina she's more than welcome to put us at the opposite end of the ship - I know how loud my family gets - what can I say - we're Italian! |
