Christmas 2009

The only island I have been to on is St. Thomas. In fact I am there right now. The weather is great mid-eighties and sunny.

Hey everyone, I need your advice. Since I was late coming into this group, I am assuming you are all already booked and deposits paid right? Since I am paying for the kids, I need to get ahold of Nina and add the kids into my reservation. What date do we have until the group space is released? I thought I remember seeing on the Cunard Holiday sailing site that it was some time in January. But I can't seem to find it now.

So does anyone remember when Nina said to have this cabins booked by? I don't want to bother her right now. So I am bothering you all.

Michele you have until sometime in mid January, I think around the 15th

Michele, You can email Tina with questions while Nina is gone. TRinaldi13@aol.com

I know she will be working on our bookings next week, so you may want to just let her know you want to add your kids. But I don't think there is any great rush.

Hubby and I have been to St Thomas, Barbados, and St Lucia before (Sep 2006) and we've been to Curacao with our daughter (Aug 2005). The rest of the ports will be new for us.

Michele, Nina had told us that she would still be assigning cabins, hotel and airfare in January for our July 1st QM2 cruise. Since ours is before your cruise, Id assume it would be more important to get done than yours over 5 months later. She had told us we had 3 days to pay our deposits if we wanted to hold a cabin. I barely got that done, because the 3rd day of the deadline is the day she had her baby. Some people on our cruise were going to wait until January to do their cabins. Iv still never talked to Nina on the phone, we did the deposit over email, she was too busy to reach by phone, so I said I'd wait until she was less busy.

If we could wait until January, Im sure you guys could too without worry. I only did it since she had already assigned me a cabin, and said she needed the deposit within 3 days to hold it. I havent been able to talk to her about anything else about our QM2 cruise. So dont worry. There are other people on the July cruise who posted they were going to wait until January. Im sure Nina will be busy when she does come back with two cruises to book people into and travel arrangements.

Yep finally convinced the jury that I am no longer a threat to society. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving and I hope you and everyone here did too. Braved the Jersey malls on Friday, every year I tell myself the same thing, never again and yet every year Leanna talks me into it!

How was everyone else's holiday weekend?

ours was fairly quiet and uneventful....
