| I have just booked ait ticket out of Miami same day as disembarkation from FL. Because we have an evening flight, I would like to know if it is possible to book a transfer + tour (to fill in time) with tour co., or is it better to book transfer with cruise line and just book a day room in Miami hotel.
When we embarked Southampton, we flew into England early and got transfer + tour before embarkation, so was wondering if we can do similar, only in reverse! Any advice appreciated as we have never cruised US before. | |

| Some cruise lines have tours before or after a cruise. After the tour...they drop you off at the airport. When we did a post-cruise tour with RCI....we visited the Everglades for a tour...and they dropped us at the airport in Miami. (some were brought to FLL) Tour was over by 3pm. | |

| If you do a tour/transfer make sure you have a back up plan. I had one canceled because there were not enough to do the tour. | |

| i have people watched in nyc when i lived there but to tell you the truth, sitting on the boardwalk with a few drinks in south beach on a saturday night was more entertainment than i could ever have asked for. |

| south beach in Miami is something else. Been out there a couple times...and loved it. It's a real good place to people watch. You can't get this kind of entertainment where I'm from.... | |
