hi, i am ndjollymons brother and we will be on the qm2 with him, my wife darlene has been posting all ready, she gets excited about cruises just like my brother.
his wife cindy and i have no say in the cruises, we just go ahead with what they pick, see you all soon

It's so quiet in here, I guess everyone is busy with Christmas preps and cruising and such. That's ok, I'll just give this a bump up to remind everyone to keep things going in here.

Thanks Nigel, it has been a bit quiet in here lately but, do you realize in about one year we'll be gearing up to meet each other and start our holiday fun on QM2? I think that's reason to start getting excited!

A year from now I'll already be on a cruise (Oasis) simultaneously getting ready for QM2.

I can't imagine the excitement by this time next year!

I just popped on to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas (Hanukkah and Kwanzaa), I'll be busy this week getting ready for my first Christmas sailing on Crystal Cruise Lines. I'm very excited!! I promise to give a full report upon my return!

Pam, have a wonderful time on Crystal and yes a full report will really be appreciated, I know many of us from the Cunard boards plan on making the jump to Crystal for the 2011 Holiday sailing. We'd like to know what to expect!

Ladies, I brought the fashion thread back to life so we don't drive the guys crazy with clothing talk. However, one thing I wanted to mention in here is that QM2 DOES have self-laundry!! That's a HUGE help when packing for a long 15 night cruise!

I have to say that I am really looking forward to the dressing up on this cruise! We are the types who like to dress to the nines on formal night (And semi-formal night... do other lines even have that anymore?) and are disappointed when no one else is in a tux.

That being said... do men really wear jackets on 'casual' night? Usually DH wears Dockers and a button down shirt for casual night, a suit (with jacket and tie) for semi-formal, and a tux for formal. Is this okay?

Men REALLY do wear jackets on casual nights. Semi-formal will be a suit or jacket with tie and dress trousers; formal will be a full suit (dark color is best) or tuxedo
