Michele did you get any photos to share with us? And, if you think it's bad now, wait until next year when you come in for the cruise - avoid 5th Avenue at all costs!

Oh, don't tell me that. Laughing I was waiting in the rain/snow at 11pm and I looked at my hubby and said "Remind me NEVER to do New York City at Christmas again." and he looks at me and says "You mean like next year before the cruise" Shocked

I said "Well that's different" Laughing

Howdy, Bro! Runnin' loose in the Big Apple...the two of us. Just like that time we took off on a walking tour of Minneapolis after that Buffett concert. We'll find some interesting places...

It's so quiet in here, I guess everyone is busy with Christmas preps and cruising and such. That's ok, I'll just give this a bump up to remind everyone to keep things going in here. ThreadBump

Thanks Nigel, it has been a bit quiet in here lately but, do you realize in about one year we'll be gearing up to meet each other and start our holiday fun on QM2? I think that's reason to start getting excited! santa

Pam, have a wonderful time on Crystal and yes a full report will really be appreciated, I know many of us from the Cunard boards plan on making the jump to Crystal for the 2011 Holiday sailing. We'd like to know what to expect!

Ladies, I brought the fashion thread back to life so we don't drive the guys crazy with clothing talk. However, one thing I wanted to mention in here is that QM2 DOES have self-laundry!! That's a HUGE help when packing for a long 15 night cruise!

Thanks for the welcome!

I have to say that I am really looking forward to the dressing up on this cruise! We are the types who like to dress to the nines on formal night (And semi-formal night... do other lines even have that anymore?) and are disappointed when no one else is in a tux.

That being said... do men really wear jackets on 'casual' night? Usually DH wears Dockers and a button down shirt for casual night, a suit (with jacket and tie) for semi-formal, and a tux for formal. Is this okay?

Welcome aboard Helen! Welcome

You mean my kids may have some more kids to cruise with? Yay

Christina - I found a black/white ball gown tonight. And I wasn't even looking for one. Very Happy I'll have to go jump over to the fashion thread.

Men REALLY do wear jackets on casual nights. Semi-formal will be a suit or jacket with tie and dress trousers; formal will be a full suit (dark color is best) or tuxedo
