| Nick that's one of the reasons for getting everyone in at least one day early, that gives us a day's grace. However, if necessary, yes, Nina and I will do everything in our power to get everyone to the ship on time for sailing - pretty much whatever it takes | |

| Now that the Oasis inaugural has been changed I'm thinking we might try to get into NYC on Friday Dec 18th next year before the QM2 sailing. |

| I still think we'll have to get there on Saturday. I need the kids to miss as little school as possible. Let's hope ice storms don't effect Amtrak. If not, I will be crawling there! I still can't believe we will all be together in less than a year. |

I'll get to meet some FREEKS before then.... on the river cruise in July! No freeks for me until December. Well, not exactly....I will actually be on the same sailing as DramaQueen in February. She is too much of a lady for me to call her a freek though. |

Yep, here it is. As usual, take out the space between the first [IMG] and the http after you paste it. https://2img.net/h/i46.photobucket.com/albums/f144/cruisinmama08/QM2-Siggie.gif" border="0" alt=""/> |

- well i just finished up shopping today thank goodness, now i have to wrap everything, i still have no lights on our tree yet or decorations, i can't wait till next christmas i will not have to do this, but i think i might miss it, i have never experienced a christmas away from my family, i just wonder how it will feel, i sure hope not too bad but i'm sure it will feel bad so don't foget to bring me presents so i won't feel too bad hahahaha
Yes, I'm sure it will be hard for some to be away from family at the holidays, especially when there are "little ones" around, but hopefully all of us as EXTENDED family can help ease the pain... the sun and sand won't hurt either!
Maybe we need a "Holiday Traditions" party. We could all meet and discuss the hard and true holiday traditions of the past and how the curves in our life roads have caused us to change, although certainly not forget them... I know there are a few old traditions I'm kind of ready to forget! yes, i have 5 grandkids and 4 kids that i will be away from and i have never missed a christmas at my moms house for as long as i have lived, i think that is going to be the worst, this old and still haven't missed christmas at home. so that will probably be alot of foofoo's to drink, yes the extended family will be just fine, just don't ask for anything huge for your present next year. | |

| Talk about crazy weather, here in NYC we've had snow on Friday, a mix of snow, sleet and rain today and by Christmas day we'll be back into the 40s and the weather man is claiming by next Saturday we might hit 50 degress! I'm more than ready for another tropical Christmas! Sure beats our crazy weather here!! |

Good news! This sailing IS out of NYC!! Here's the website Tina created for the sailing if you'd like to read about it: http://www.cunardholiday2009.makeswebsites.com/I know she WAS offering the pre-cruise package free as a booking incentive but, I'm not sure if that offer expired yet. |
