Not good news from the Left Coast....Alan of Alan and Ginny is having surgery on Tuesday at 1:30...hope it isn't Melanoma.

Anyone know Bev and Claude Christopher? They were often "top cruisers" on cruises....sailed often with the Domingers and Mays...anyway, Bev died of a rare heart condition on Monday. Claude says he will continue to cruise ...bless his heart.

Barb: When I saw the pictures of Carmine's, I remembered the last visit with my doctor when he could not remember the name of the fantastic italian place in Atlantis, so that must be the place!!!

Thanks for posting this Mar. I do hope that Alan's surgery goes well.

Yes, We sailed with the Christopher's several times. Claude was the "jewelry" man. The pieces that he created were stunning. They were very good friends with Karen & Pete for quite a while.............always saw the four of them together. Wasn't she in her early to mid 60's? A very classy lady..............and so sweet........what a tragic loss for Claude. Thoughts and prayers going out to him and their family.

Jill-------I have read $35 on the Bahamas boards........thats insane........$70 a couple?? For what?? to look at some fish......I rather have a good fish(make that lobster) dinner for that money.........hahah

Dont know all those who need prayers,but they have mine anyway...

Would have been fun to be there at the same time...we had a blast...walked our feet almost off. We are going back next June, with Son & grandson..on Monarch

Yes that is where those pixs of all 4 of us together, made by the atlantis roaming photographers. One of the few bargans at Atlantis...cd with 100 photos is only $89...we trolled the resort the last night hunting the photographers

Yes it is carmines, the food was so good & soooo much...all the apps & entrees were after we all had eat. The Bread pudding was before, during & after.

Mar - So sorry about the death of your friend, and hope the surgery goes well for Alan.

Worked on the packing yesterday (FINALLY). Thought I really had cut down, but only half the stuff is in and it's almost FULL! Martha says she will re-pack for me probably tomorrow. That tells you who the packer is in this house. She learned from Daddy, he was the champion packer.

Did anyone see this post from WN? ~~ "I had an officer 5 staterooms fom us on Dawn who came out of the Bridge with coffee all over his shirt. I told him I was doing a load & give me the shirt to do for him. He did. I did & that was one very happy Officer at the party that night." ~~ I'm sure the laundry would take care of an officer's laundry.

Diane, are we talking about LS? She is on your cruise on Oasis? I'm confused......... but doesn't take much.

So WN did laundry for an Officer.................give me a break. Man, that's one way to interact with the staff. I wonder if her head hurts every morning from her brain over working.

Oh and as far as WN doing laundry for any of the officers? They get their laundry done on the ship for free by professionals daily why would they have her do it? Just another lie and a way to get some attention and seem important.

Nancy: Yes, we have windy, cloudy, rainy, weather but that's about it...The weather is supposed to stay with us for a couple of days due to the surrounding storms...Not good for holiday weekend visitors to the beach, but much better than having to evacuate!!! Albertson's is due to close sometime in the next week..I happened to be in the Seminole store last week and it looked like a bomb had hit it...Still not sure what they are going to do with all the stores...Publix is now thinking about using some of the stores for Natural/Organic food stores...Only time will tell...Have a wonderful trip, will expect a full report...

Hi everyone................back from a wonderful lunch at our friends home. All I can say is what a home they have. It's absolutely beautiful..............but since they are slightly older than we are...........it's too much house for me to keep clean.
