Okay I guess I did the correct thing to get the picture on. Pease forgive for the picture but it was the first one of the two of us when we got on the ship to go to Alaska before.

You can go in and edit your birth year. I was thinking we should all put in 1967 and we would all be 39... and holding!
When I officially turned 39, I told DH that was it and I started counting backwards from then on!

I HATE that our ages show up here!

If we take out the year it won't show our age...

Good choice Murphy...........I don't think I would want to give up 41 days of vacation for 19. Luckily you didn't commit to something before you found out all the facts. I'm sure a change would have be nice and the extra money would have come in handy, but you would be starting at the bottom again......and that wouldn't have been good.

Well, it has finally stopped raining. We had 3.5 inches total today and a total of 6.5 inches in 48 hours. The shrubs are dancing and the flowers are all perky.

South and west of us they got it really bad...........tornado warnings and a couple of touch downs. Thankfully, living so close to the lake we were spared. Unfortunately it doesn't work that way in the winter before the lake freezes over.......we usually get hammered.

Well, I guess I should clarify, I get 41 total days off a year including all holidays and sick days, but hey, they are still viable days off! I'm sure I made the right decision, but it is sooo hard to give up the money!

Now, on the PJ Breakfast..........OK, I sure don't want to be a stick in the mud. I'll attend, but not dressed in my jammies. In fact, I don't, oh never mind. I'll be there. But, remember I'm the one with the BLACK boa.....I'm the distinguished sheep in the group. LJ can just go to trivia one morning without me (he'll probably do better anyways). I really don't need another key chain or official RCI communication instrument (the pen).

Thanks Barb for your comment on my avatar. That was taken last September on Radiance just before you guys boarded. At least the weight gain doesn't show in that picture (well. come on 29 days is a long time to be on a ship and eat all of that food that I don't normally cook).

Hey Ginny (Jean), I thought you said that your hair was curly.......can't tell from your avatar. Age is just a frame of mind.....but the body really let's you know that you are getting older each year.

Murphy, 41 days is still 41 days........and that's a lot to give up.

As I told isujim in an email to him (we sailed with Jim and his wife last October) when we do this cruise on Radiance to Alaska he had better keep his eyes on the news because there might be a story about a female found floating around Hubbard Glacier with long blonde flowing hair with a tiara , wearing crystal shoes from WalMart that light up with and a pink boa drapped around her shoulders , an RCI Diamond pin on her lapel (that has just been polished), holding a FREE cappachino in one hand from the CL and a FREE Cosmo in the other and a sign that says "I get no respect!!

When you want to insert an smiley, make sure your cursor is in the spot that you want it to appear. Then pick out a smiley and click on it and it will appear where you placed your cursor.
