I think these boards are much easier to use, and I love all the animated smilies!

The only question I have is why is the time off? It is 9:15am and the posts are saying it's 4:15 pm???? Does that mean I can go home now?

Jen, we met on the Monarch the group cruise where Bob introduced us at the Crown and Anchor get together. I have the same name as someone else on this cruise and thought I would change my board name over here. I am also on Cruise Addicts and have a in my signature on that site.

Is that enough clues??

But in my defense, I have met both of our "Jean's" on Monarch, and when Bob said Virginia, I thought maybe it was Ginny, as that is my Mom's name. So I was all confused!!!

Good afternoon all! Looks like a lot of you are getting used to the new board. I can't say as I've figured it all out yet, but it's nice to have a new home.

It doesn't look like I'm going to get the new job that I interviewed for a few weeks ago. When I got their benefits package, it basically stunk! 1 week vacation for 2 year and then a 2nd week for the next 6 years! YIKES! I currently get 41 days off a year and they offered me 19. Not going to happen. I gave them some options for how I thought we might be able to do some sort of comp time thing, but "at this time they are not prepared to do that". Well, all I can say is THANK GOODNESS I didn't take it. I can't imagine going back to 1 weeks vacation. I don't even think I ever had a job that had only 1 week's vacation. I'll miss the extra money they were offering, but not the hours or lack of days off, that's for sure!

All for the best probably. You wouldn't like being held to a 6 night cruise and having to rush right back to work for another whole year.
