Pete, the door sign is available to anyone who wants to use them on cruises to ID themselves as a Cruise Freeks Member. It could be helpful on our group cruises in locating each other's cabins. The one with the crossbones and skull on it will be Nick's cabin and a warning to enter at your own risk!

I can't take credit for the door signs. Jen made them up. You can print them out on magnet paper or even photo paper would work. If you use plane paper you may want to have it laminated. Then just tape them to your door. This way I know who to play pranks on during the cruise.

This is terrific. Very eye catching.

However, one question: Shouldn't there be a "?" after 'Are you."? It seems to be more of a question and less of a declarative statement. Or am I wrong?

Thoughts? Anyone?

The last cruise I was on had a Marti Gras theme so we decorated our door and our entire cabin with the theme. We were the only one's in our hall with a decorated door and we received a lot of great comments by people passing by!!

Yes! You are correct, there should be a question mark. I had several designs going, and I think I sent the wrong one in to Tina as the final. Thank you for catching it. I will fix it when I get home tonight, and resend.

When we sailed from Chile to Los Angeles on the QM2 in 2006, I decorated the balcony with double-sided party decorations I got from a party store. I brought some double-stick tape with me and stuck them on the inside of the glass on the balcony.

This really serves two purposes: 1) You can find your cabin when you are on shore and point it out to all the envious fellow passengers 2) it looks great from the inside of the cabin as well and makes you feel like you are on holiday not some business trip. Also, decorating the windows inside is very easy with double stick tape! Check out the party supply store for Bon Voyage themed items. Those seem to go best.

Window Clings work great as well! I always use them so I can find my cabin from shore!

Very cool! Make sure to give it to me via email in the upcoming months and I can either email it out to everyone, or I'll print them up myself and hand them out on the ship/or put them on everyone's doors (but if we end up with 100 cabins, that may be a bit tiring...I suppose Ron can help.).
