| Hi everyone, we took the beautiful Vision of the Seas for a 7 day cruise of the Mexican Riviera. The weather was gorgeous 85 to 90 in all the ports. I booked a couple of independent tours, thru Johaan and Sandra tour company. We booked an ATV excursion in Cabo, and were left waiting over two hours with no tour guide. They said we didn't show up, but of course we did! Johaan and Sandra said they would investigate and they went ahead and put us on a tour in Mazatlan in exchange and no extra charge. They were very nice about it, but it did take several phone calls and a couple of emails to get it all straightened out. The atv tour in Mazatlan was great! We also booked whale watching in Puerto Vallarta, on the Princess Yelepa. The price was $50 per person, and was about 3 hours long. It was on a large ferry type boat that holds about 300 people. To my surprise there were only 10 people booked on this tour! So we had the whole boat practically to ourselves. Complimentary mixed drinks, sodas and beer were served, and yummy homemade ceviche. It was a beautiful day out in Banderas bay! There weren't to many whales as it was early in the season, but we did see a few and lots of dolphins. It was a very nice afternoon. | Thanks for the info on the Mexican Riviera. That's one area we're really interested in cruising. We've only been on the Caribbean side of Mexico---Cozumel, Belize, etc. | |
