Thanks Jeanie! It's only thanks to the cruise ship pictures. I do like to see who is and having a picture to identify everyone with is nice.

Thanks Kim! We are the same way. I take the pictures and have a hard time getting a good one of us. If it wasn't for the pictures the ships take we wouldn't have any. This was taken on a Panama Canal cruise a couple of years ago. I guess since it was a 10 day cruise they taking pictures all the time. What I liked is they had a lot of casual settings you could choose also.

yeah i am so tired of the formal pictures. i don't even take them anymore. i always say after dinner i'm going down to take some casual ones but after dinner i am so stuffed i just want to go back to the room and put on comfortable clothes.

sharon - is this the free cruise for you or are you booked? if so, thru jeanie beck? where are we going to meet for sailaway? have you done this ship before? wondering if they have a bar like the explorer so you can have a great view leaving the harbor and passing under the verrazano.

This is my free cruise and yes, I booked through Jeanie. This is my first time on this ship. The Grand Princess was our first and only Princess cruise and there were more complaints even from the faithful Princess cruisers. But, I'm hoping this will be a much better ship. We've doe the Explorer and liked that ship. The meet and greet is the day of Embarkation in the Skywalker's Lounge between 2:30 and 3:30. I would imagine there will be a place to go to see the sailaway. I missed it when we left out of Bayonne last October on the Explorer. I booked a massage for 5:30 the day we disembarked and didn't think about it until it was too late. Guess I needed the message more. I won't miss it this time.

sharon - you missed the sailaway under the verrazano? that's the one thing i make sure i see. just can't see it enough times.

You guys were right. Usually the cruise "taken" photos are decent. We try to buy a formal one every few years so we have a semi decent one of us to have in the house. Its the finding the semi decent one that is known as the great hunt. I like myself in one pic and Mike doesn't like himself and vice versa ...when he sees one where he likes himself ... OMG ... I don't like me in it. If we could merge two photos sometimes ...LOL.

I forgot to look at the countdown clock when I started this post. I'll have to go out and look and come back...just a minute

Getting closer to double digits anyways, yay!!

Well I am finally getting around to posting here. It has taken me awhile to get the hang of this site and then I got locked out for a while with some computer glitch but here I am.

I have had this booked since last Nov. and like Sharon it is a free cruise.

I have had 9 cruises with Princess and it will be fun to get back with her again. Most of them have been fine except of course the one on the Crown Princess when she listed. That's another whole story. The terminal in Brooklyn is so new and what a difference from Bayonne you will be surprised those of you coming over from RCCI.

I see some familiar names here like you Sharon and some others from other posts.

Now I have to try and get a picture on here but not today, much too close to dinner for that.

I also want to read some of the post on here to sort of catch up with this group by week's end.

Welcome Terry! This board is not as active as the other one is. I had a hard time with this one too. I kept going back to the help section which I kept loosing. BUT, I finally figured it out. Go to your Profile and under the green menu bar you'll see where you can click on options to make changes. Look for the link to your Avatar and then go to:

Upload an Avatar to your computer
Browse

This board has been dead since April 1rst, when it was found the owner was a big, fat fraud! A bunch of us re-formed a much better board, and we are here....
