| I'm wondering.... When we sailed ISLAND PRINCESS (15 RT Hawaii), they had a place called THE SANCTUARY. It wasn't the place on deck where you pay extra ($10)...it was a place IN THE SPA where you check in, get assigned a locker, and there were aroma therapy steam rooms, dry sauna, hot stone beds, rainforest showers...a great place to unwind. The price to use it was $150 per couple, and you could use it as much as you wanted. My question is this... Does EMERALD PRINCESS have this area in the SPA? Do you know if the charge is similar? | |

| We sailed on the Emerald back in March. They do have The Sanctuary. We had our three kids with us, so we didn't get a chance to enjoy it, but I believe the prices are the same. | |

Wow, they are both great ships! We really loved both cruises. But the Emerald is my favorite. I would sail on her again in a heartbeat! Its very different from the Mariner. The Mariner has the rock wall, skating rink, and the long promenade. It was beautiful. We had a great cruise on her. The Emerald has the Movie screen above the pool, which was a big hit! We had an ocean view cabin on the Mariner, and a balcony on the Emerald. There was so much closet space on the Emerald. While I enjoyed the food on the Mariner, I liked the food on the Emerald much better. I was a little worried that there would not be enough on the Emerald to entertain my kids', but they actually liked it better. I also loved the atrium in the Emerald. It was so elegant in my opinion. I hope this helps.. they are two very different ships. But both wonderful!

| Thanks, we've sailed on Navigator OTS...(sister) and wondered how they compare. I'm leaning toward EMERALD for Feb 8, 2009...if I can find a good enough price. RCI prices seem higher lately. | |

| I booked Emerald about 6 months before we cruised and got a great price. I enjoyed the 10 night itinerary. It was the perfect amount of time! | |

| Well...with this upcoming PRINCESS REDUCED DEPOSIT SALE next week... I think we will book EMERALD PRINCESS! I love that FEB 8th Itinerary for 09. I fell in love with DOMINICA last time we were there. One of the islanders told me I'd be back...and he was right! | |

Dave, Princess allows individual Travel Agencies to hold a cruise sale a few times a year! My agency is one of those agencies. I wanted to offer anyone wanting to sail Princess a reduced deposit before their new fuel surcharge takes affect on Thursday. The reduced deposit is $100 per person and includes a coupon booklet worth $120 in savings!
