| We've stayed at 2 hotels in Houston, very near the Galleria, that I would highly recommend! These are not only helpful for pre & post-cruises, but also great for shopping since they are within wakling distance to the Galleria. We've stayed about 10 times at the Embassy Suites on Sage street, which includes "made-to-order" breakfast & complimentary cocktails in the evenings. The rooms are comfortable & quiet, staff is friendly, parking fee. We've stayed at Homewood Suites, also on Sage - right across the street from Embassy Suites - & it was wonderful! It was like having our own small apartment - full size refrigerator, small cooktop, some dishes & cooking utensils, comfortable beds, breakfast included, light dinners served on weeknights, very quiet  | |
