I have been over to the other forum. Seems like a nice group over there. I just hate having to learn new things and the site is very slow (loading, etc...) for me. Could just be my crappy computer though.

How are my fellow ghosts doing tonight? I kind of like the intimate, club-like feel we have going here

I need 958 posts to mak captain.

Maybe we should have a contest to guess how long this board will last.

One thing that is missing from CLF is the Portal. It was very useful to help keep track of breaking news.

One thing I did suggest before the meltdown was to run a contest Like the Nick Dundee clues that several of us tried to be the first to guess. That was really fun. Of course there would be no prizes associated just the scoreboard. But that would need more than a couple of wandering souls to make it worthwhile.

Tony- I think this a free-hosted site so I don't believe she pays a monthly fee. I could be wrong though.

I think your contest idea is great but I agree we would need more people involved. Maybe something to suggest on the other site?

I'm still around as well. Tina said that someone new will take over this board as of May 1st, and I am hoping that people will return and bring this place back to the fun environment it should be!

As far as a 'contest' is concerned the CLF site doesn't even have to do anything. We could just create a topic in a suitable section ie "off cruise topics" and be off and running. Only a point though if several people are interested. The question poser could rotate after a while. One rule NO PRIZES .

Yes definitely no prizes Maybe create a poll in the off cruise topics forum to see if there is enough interest?
