No problem.
Update on me: Still no word about the surgery. VERY frustrating. I'm going to take a nap.

Well that stinks! Are they at least telling you the reason for the delay?

It's a friggin' fiasco here. Long story short, my primary care doctor is female. She makes the decision, then leaves the hospital. This other MALE doctor of Middle Eastern descent (Dr. Kota) undermines absolutely EVERYTHING she does. He's the one that has stopped the surgery since Monday. Dr. Racaniello (my doctor) says she wants a second opinion, so he acts before she can and calls in his Middle Eastern associates, who agree with him. Then Rac fights back with another doctor (one from Russia or something), who agrees with Rac. Then Kota calls for another opinion. It's been a fiasco. Finally, an AMERICAN surgeon, Dr. Pritchep, stepped in. He examined me and determined that my gall bladder NEEDS to come out. So, I am having surgery tomorrow between 1pm - 2pm. I am supposedly going to be released on Saturday, which is my twins' first birthday.
Nick - The reason for the delay is blatant sexism and ethnocentricity.
Grr.

Hi, all-
If you have not yet made your deposit for this cruise, please email me your phone number so that I can give you a call to get your credit card information. Or, even better, please fill out to form that Tina posted so that I can get you all taken care of.
Thanks!

Hi everyone, If you are already a member at the platinum or higher level with Royal Caribbean, but have never cruised with Celebrity, please be sure and contact Celebrity to get you a Captain's Club number at the same level you have with Royal Caribbean. The members program on Celebrity is not as good as RCCL's (imho), but there are some extra cocktail parties you get invited to,and some small discounts on some of the services. Their reservation system is now showing the current reservations with the individuals who have deposited with the group, if you know your reservation number. Some of the category prices are starting to rise/sell out, but thank goodness Candice has the prices locked in on the group space! I hope lots of you will be taking this cruise to the Canary Islands. Have a good evening, Kelcie

Kelcie, do you know if Celebrity keeps records of past cruises? I don't think we've been credited correctly.

Nick, they should. If you can give them the ship & sail date, and if you have your old confirmation that might help as well.

Hi Nick, They should have a record, but sometimes, I've had to send a copy of a picture with the ship and date of sailing when they didn't give me the right credits and I didn't keep any other type of record. They are pretty good about taking your word for it. They had two systems, one when every cruise no matter the length and category was worth 1 credit and the newer system which has been in effect about the last 5-6 years, which is 1 credit for 7 nights, 1 credit for Concierge class and higher, and 1 credit for a cruise longer than 12 nights. Pete and Candice, Maybe if we invite the persons in that cabin to the Shaun Barker meet and greet, they will invite us to the Penthouse. It does have a grand piano in the cabin, which would be great for Shaun to play. Michael's Club also has a grand piano, because I've tinkered on the one in the Solstice last year! Kelcie

Yes, Patrick booked. But, I'm not saying what category... My lips are sealed!
Kelcie - Good idea about Shaun & the penthouse people.
Okay, I've got some news.... I have one FV left!!!!! It was originally going to another family, who has since backed out. It is cabin 8108, if you wanted to look it up. (My family, incidentally, is in 8107.) The total for this room - Which MUST be FIVE (5) people - is $5600, all taxes and fees included.
Like I said, there is only one FV available. If you want it, you MUST email me at prttraveller@gmail as soon as you possibly can.
Thanks, Candy
