| This is my blog entry today. For everyone that always said Cunard is too expensive, you no longer have that excuse! http://rcclprojectgenesis.blogspot.com/2008/08/qm2-vs-explorer-of-seas-for-4th-of-july.html
And here is the comparison chart
|
| Queen Mary 2 - July 1, 2009 - 5 Nights | Explorer of the Seas - July 4 2009 - 5 Nights | Inside Cabin | $1210.00 per person (Category D5) | $1145.13 per person (Category Q) | Outside Cabin | N/A | $1445.13 per person (Category I) | Balcony Cabin | $1445.00 per person (Category B5, B3 or B2) | $1645.13 per person (Category E2) | Deluxe Balcony Cabin | $1822.00 per person (Category A2 or A1) | $1665.13 per person (Category D3) | Junior Suite | $2720.00per person (Category P1 or P2) | N/A | Suite | $3490.00 per person (Category Q6 or Q5) | $2645.13 per person (Category GS) | This is based on information and pricing directly from the Royal Caribbean site and latest pricing for QM2 being offered by Cruise Freek Forums and Ambiance Travel for this sailing. And, yes, all pricing includes port charges, taxes and fuel surchages. | |

| Very interesting! You should have mentioned there is some OBC for the QM2 on the 1 July 2009 sailing being offered on here. That would probably inspire more people to book! | |

| Hmmmm, interesting - now can someone explain what an "in-hull" cabin is to me. | |

| "in hull" - if you are familiar with the Disney ships, this is similar to their "navigator verandah" (cat 7) staterooms. Personally, I like having a semi-protected/shielded balcony stateroom.
