Has Royal Caribbean set a date for their next release of Oasis of the Seas information? It seems strange to me that they didn't indicate when they'd share the next wave of announcements.

It seems to me that it would be a good thing to have a specific date established so that everyone knows when to expect more information. Perhaps they like being elusive. ;-)

Still outstanding (feel free to add to this list):
- Additional neighborhood descriptions, including pool areas
- Deck plans
- C&A Member booking specifics

Anyone know anything?

That's a good question, they're being rather quiet about the next announcement, however, if bookings open on September 3rd, there isn't a heck of a lot of time left to make any big announcements about Deck Plans and when C&A members will be allowed to book. I guess we'll just have to wait and see unless Susan (Host Ivanova) has some inside info she can share with us Very Happy

We should know the C&A booking date pretty soon ... once we have that, then we'll have a better idea of when the rest of the info will roll out ... prices & deck plans need to be available before C&A members book.

I'm curious about pricing myself. It's going to be interesting to see what type of price point they set for the inaugural, usually right before the holidays you can get great deals but, given the demand for this sailing...

Well, like I said it should be interesting! For example, pricing on Freedom of the Seas for an inside Category Q is $771.80 per person with taxes and port/fuel charges for December 6, 2009. And on December 13, 2009 the charge for an inside Category Q is $931.55

So we shall see...

I wouldn't be too shocked if the prices are double - Royal Caribbean knows they have a high demand for this sailing so, I'm expecting insides to be in the $1200 or slightly more per person mark. I don't care - just want to get on the ship!

I have to agree Steve, they know this sailing is high demand so people really should brace themselves for prices that will be similar to Holiday sailings. I'll be shocked if they are lower.

with C&A members being able to start booking 8/21, the assumption is that pricing and deck plans will be made public before that....
