Hotels and Party Space for Oasis

We DO have the Embassy Suites and party room, right?

Indeed we do, no worries there. As we secure more hotels, they will be listed here and in the dedicated website as well. I have touched base with the catering staff at the hotel but, the person in charge is out until tomorrow (July 1). In the meantime, you can rest assured we have this part of our Oasis cruise under control.

Taking into consideration both cost and universal appeal, we will be going with a general BBQ theme of hamburgers, hot dogs, etc however, we'll have plenty of appetizers and dessert as well. One thing I will tell you up front is that we do plan on a cash bar and we encourage everyone to take advantage of the shuttle service we will be providing for those not staying at Embassy Suites. We don't want anyone drinking and driving.

Once we get the menu set up with Embassy Suites catering department, I'll let everyone know what's on the menu and, (yes, we know there are vegetarians out there and we won't forget you) and the party price will also cover the cost of the DJ and transfers between hotels. We are going to do our best to keep in in the $25 - $35 per person range so the majority can afford to attend if they wish to join us.

Susan and I are still discussing the door prizes but, we are going to make the "grand door prize" something very worthwhile and, there will be smaller prizes leading up to the grand door prize. And "cruising" is the main theme to our party!

Can you elaborate on the transfers? Do we get all transfers covered if we book the party? I'm a little confused now.

We are still working out the details. We will be offering a variety of transfer packages that much is certain. As for the party and transfers, we might do two different pricing packages. One with round trip transfers between hotels and one without but, again, once we have more information and prices, we will let everyone know.

How about if we just need airport/hotel/pier transfers?

Again, once we have more details, we're going to let everyone know and that includes the types of transfer packages we will be offering. We are going to do our best to accommodate everyones needs while keeping costs down.

How about those us who are going to do the Inaugural on Oasis and then the Cunard holiday sailing? Are special arrangements being made for us?

Hi Marina,

Yes, I've contacted Dean, the owner of Florida Sunshine Shuttle, our official transfer service and, he's going to work with the few of us crazy enough to attempt both sailings I'll send emails around to the handful of people who book both sailings and, give full instructions about getting off the ship early, etc.

That's one of the details we're still working out. We will have some sort of check-in station, but, we're still figuring out if we're going to use tickets or have names on a list. We'll pass this info along as soon as we have a plan set.
