Disney introduced us to cruising back in 2003 ... hubby thought we'd cruise once and that would be it!! Ha!! He then signed us up for our 2004 and 2005 Disney cruises, and we've been cruising every since. Laughing

Hi welcome to cruise freeks,

We have cruised Disney once, we did enjoy it but I don't think we would repeat. To us it is perfect for anyone having kids under 10, otherwise, I prefer the cruise lines that seem to appeal more to adults as well as families.

Nita

Hi Nita!!

Ironically my daughter LOVES Disney ... she was 13 on our first cruise ... RCI's teen club underwhelmed her comared to Disney, but I think the biggest problem on RCI was the actual kids making up the age group. Wink

Haven't been on it but, always hear great things about the line. What do you like about DCL?

We've always enjoyed the Disney parks, so Disney Cruise Line was a natural for us. The service has always been impeccable, and the entertainment is top notch.

We've done 2. Just now considering a third, possibly for next year.

We have only sailed Disney once, and we LOVED it. For us, there are only two negatives. First, the lack of differing itineraries. Ports are a major reason for us to choose a cruise, and Disney spends the vast majority of its time at the same ports over and over again in the Caribbean.

The other factor is price, particularly on those 'different' itineraries, such as Mexican Riviera and Europe. For the price of a Disney cruise in a regular outside cabin, we could take a longer cruise on Princess in a minisuite. That's really the main thing that has held us back from cruising Disney again.

FWIW, we visit a Disney park (either WDW or DL) every year.
