If you are currently booked on a cruise. This is an FYI on the increase

From DCL:
We just received word that Government Taxes and Fees are increasing $5.00 per person per Mexican port for your Disney Cruise Line® Vacation.

This increase will be applied to all reservations that are not paid in full today, March 4, 2008.

To avoid this increase you will need to pay in full by 9PM EDT today, March 4, 2008.

I just spoke to DCL to get the exact rate increases. It is an increase of $5 per person, per Mexican port.
This will affect the Panama Canal, Mexican Riviera, and Western Caribbean cruises.

  • Panama Canal Crossing = $15 extra pp (Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta, Acapulco)
  • Mexican Riviera Cruises = $15 extra pp (Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan, Puerto Vallarta)
  • Western Caribbean Cruises = $5 extra pp (Cozumel)
