Patti - The video poker was only Jacks or Better, Deuces Wild, Bonus and I think Double Bonus (Martha will probably have the correct answer)...but none of the other games you mentioned.

Wish they would add Video Keno...that would be AWESOME.

Hi Everybody, I just got in from our afternoon adventures at the Mall. I did get a couple of nice bargains though and the guys had a good time. I love the AWESOME thing you have going. I think I may have used the word even before you started. I'll try to incorporate it when I can.

Jill I'll check your count down clock in a minute.

I see we've been restarted again. We must be the most prolific thread here.

Sheila, CC will no longer let Caribbean Mag Countdown clocks so I just changed, can not get all the cruises we have booked on but will delete the countdown clocks as we cruise and then add the others...Later, Jill Cool

Someone from the military correct me if I'm wrong, I thought that a flag that had been draped on a coffin and folded and presented was not to be unfurled and flown?

CCC posted: "when my father constructed a solid steel pole 12 feet in the air. Since Jan 1970 my brothers flag from Viet Nam that rapped his coffin has flown day & night. It was in a cube to hang in the home but mom & I decided it was a better salute out on the pole."

Have I been misinformed?

Ginny, do you know?

Jill I wondered about that because I just got to your post and everything was CC clocks. I liked the CaribMag ones and CC's go flooky a lot. Good luck with that.

I asked my DH if he knew the answer and he really doesn't but he did say that if it has flown since 1970 it must be in tatters and should be burned properly. It is disrespectful to fly a flag with any damage.

I can only imagine what condition it's in considering the storms they've had in the area. I was just reading the code and it says nothing so maybe it's more respect something she knows nothing about. First I've heard of the brother can't understand why she hasn't ridden that horse before.

Thanks for responding though, well need to hem some slacks to fit my 5' body.

Just curious, don't use them often. I bet Caribbean Mag doesn't sponsor any longer.

Diane, Jim says that once the family is presented with the flag they can do whatever they want. Keep in folded in the triangular shape and put it in a case, hang it in the house or fly it. So, she hasn't done anything wrong.

We need an American Flag in the emoticons.

When CCC got the link about the photos of the Radiance crew, she asked the gal who the CD was.

The gal responed back with Kirk Detweiler. You watch she's going to post who the CD is. Like we all don't know. Didn't I post that back in April when we returned from our PC cruise on Radiance?? scratch scratch

Here's the link that the gal provided............somebody want to post it before CCC does??

The CD was Kirk Detweiler.

I don't know about the flag question, sounds like Jim is correct. When my husband died a little over 6 years ago we had a military funeral for him and I have the flag in a triangle box in my home office he was a Marine. I never thought to fly it as I will pass it down to his son when I pass away. I also think if it was flying for many years it would be in bad condition and unless there was light shining on the flag between sundown and sunrise then that is not protocal for the flag.

Patti what ever you'll decide is fine with me. It certainly would make a statement and as long as it doesn't get us thrown in the brig I am game. But we need to wear our Diamond/D+ pins gold and platnium whatever you have. Also have someone on staff there with a polishing cloth. Okay I am getting really cat

I did post about the people with their hands in the food and bird droppings but ccc didn't bite. Oh well ..........

Guess I don't really have the guts to wear something like that. Why stoop to her level.

Semper Fi to your beloved departed husband. Jim was also in the Marines and served in Vietnam for 2 years.

Thank you Patti, my Jim didn't serve in Vietnam but stateside in the Reserves at Camp Pendleton. We weren't married at that time. A funny thing because he was in the reserves he was buried at Arlington National Cementary in Riverside under my service record in the Air Force as I was active duty. My parents are both there as well Dad was Army Air Corp., Mother in the Navy. My Aunt served in the Marines and a number of their brothers served as well. It is really sad to see how so many disrespect the men and women who pledge their lives to protect and defend us.

Your family certainly had most of the branches of the military covered. Bet family get togethers were more like a meeting of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

I agree with you on the disrespect given to our service men and women who sacrafice so much and get so little in return. When we did our Baltic's cruise and spent two days in Russia.........I realized just how lucky I was to be an American and have the freedom that we so often take for granted.
