Aruba!?! I'm jealous! I love Aruba! Now keep in mind, these are my personal favorites:

Beach - Palm Beach

Places to Eat -
Iguana Joe's
Salt & Pepper
Cuba's Cookin'

Must see:

Natural Bridge, ok it's collapsed now but, gives you a different view of the island (watch out for the goats...really the place is loaded)

If you're looking for something more organized, when I went to Aruba with my then girlfriend, we used De Palm Tours

We booked some snorkeling tours (they offer dive tours too) and a dinner cruise on a catamaran - food was ok but it was a lot of fun and that made it very worthwhile.

Several of the hotels have casinos on property (if that's your thing, for me it's a big thing) but, I actually enjoyed the Crystal Casino which is the only 24 hour casino on the island.

I'll post more as I think of them but, that's a running start for you.

Keep those ideas coming!! cheers

We're staying at the Marriott Surf Club for a week!!

The beach there looks great!! We are into adventure so the natural bridge sounds great!! Any outdoor stuff is what we're in to. Maybe parasailing, waverunners, ATV's, that kind of stuff. What a Face

I'll look up the restaurants too.

Should we rent a car or do taxi's?? confused We just got back from Acapulco - well, in May & did cabs. They were dirt cheap & plentiful!! Or does Aruba have a good public transportation system. Cancun does!!

We don't gamble much - but I'm learning to play craps just so I can try it in Aruba (we have a weekend in Vegas in April - so I can try my skills then!affraid )

Thanks for the info.

There is an Argentina (spelling) a steak house, I do not remember the name but anyone on the island can help you. though pricey like most of the Aruba restaurants it is a msst... of course casino hopping around the hotel circle is a great night life activity. Though the casinos are smaller than Vegas, they are the closest to the Vegas atmosphere you will get anywhere in the Caribbean complete with complimentary drinks.

As you know diving and snorkeling are great. Take a walk early in the morning just to look for sea shells and watch the Pelicans dive for their breakfast.

We usually rent a car for just a day or so, we get to see the entire island, relax and enjoy our days outing that way.

Hope this helps, we love Aruba. Shopping is great also.
