| Great all you have to do now is get on ebay and see if they are available as pins. Good job Donna Now we need to start getting as many people onboard as possible and see if its a large enough base to continue. Once the numbers are there well need to contact CF and then see how they feel about it. This will also be a great way to identify CF members. I think with the talent on this site its going to be a lot of fun!!!! | |

| donna - that website also has cloisonné pins that can have gemstones to designate different levels achieved. if you joined the cruise club for a nominal fee it could pay for a CF lanyard and then you could buy a new pin every time you achieved one of the groups. i know i would be willing. |

| I'm totally on-board (pun intended) with this idea/concept. Question - how will it work? Will we have to book a cruise through Cruise Freeks either on a group cruise or through an official Cruise Freeks travel agent?
Otherwise, people will take advantage and make claims that they've been places when they really haven't - granted it's only a pin but, I would like to see this idea take off and, I'm trying to think of all possible angles so people don't abuse it.

| How about a tier system or color system.
For example, a white background means you were in the location but it was NOT associated with Cruise Freeks
And, a blue background means you were in the location WITH a Cruise Freeks group or booked through a Cruise Freeks Travel Agent.

I think this might work best since there are locations people might only get to visit once in a lifetime. Overall, love the idea and concept! Great idea adirondack pete!!

| okay but we're not considering the cost of pins. since i'm not sure about this - pins probably have to be purchased in lots starting at 100 plus photo costs. therefore, to have the same pin in 2 different colors for only a handful of people may be cost prohibitive. however, i'm trustful that Lois isn't going to lie about where she's been and even if she does, what benefit does she gain? we're not giving her a cruise to europe for it. and Lois - what do you mean you don't have time left? there's always time to cruise. |

| To Everyone
I contacted CF and they like the idea and are going to work with us to make it a reality including making membership at no cost to CF members.
I will be at work tomorrow so I will have time to write up a more coherent synopsis/summary. It will also establish the standards and the icons all of which shall be subject to discussion and improvement. I'll post the plan this weekend and all CF members can add their thoughts.
Josh it will be site specific. I wanted it that way in the hopes that if it ever did become a popular trend that they would come to the site.
Keep posted as there shall be a lot of developments this weekend.
This is going to be a lot of fun!

| yee of littel faith, We know how to handel them now , hit them head on instead of a glancing blow . Ok a Glacier then. Easier to avoid. And I agree with the Taj for India I think we should steer clear of Religion. Did anyone suggest the Planet Earth for the world cruise ? | |

| Maybe a palm tree or sailfish pin for the Caribbean, a tee shirt pin for Cozumel, ape for Gibralter, pyramid for Egypt and put the pins on a hat the way people do at the Olympics with country pins. | |
