| i liked those tips, however, i disagree with him about the ugly american not dressing for public view. aside from the tasteless and inappropriate picture circulating here the last week, i think that some of the europeans and canadians in their thongs can be horrifying. i can't believe they even sell bikinis in those sizes. |

| "...And another thing: There’s not much anyone can do about a cloudy day..." Or waves washing over the pier, making docking impossible. Yes, this happened to us at Costa Maya, which made docking impossible and cancelled my shore excursion for perhaps my only chance to see Mayan ruins. You should have heard the whining! Oh well - I got to relax and be pampered for another full day, and lunch was served in the dining room. I also got my money back for the shore excursion. Enjoy the ship, stop whining and deal with it! Dan |

| Very good tips, I think sometimes we forget that a cruise is like any other vacation and Stuff does happen..good or bad. If people would remember that a vacation is a time to relax rather than stress out they would feel better.
And yes I have had good ones and bad ones! | |

| I cruise with the idea that something WILL happen. Then, when it does...I don't seem so surprised. I can usually fix it, or forget it and shuck it off quicker...so I can move on and enjoy myself. Life is stressful...I don't care who you are...you get stressed. That stress needs an outlet....and cruising is a good outlet for me. | |

| Most of those were pretty good. A bit more blunt than I expected, but sometimes you need to be clear to get your message across. A good attitude and respect for others are the best things you can bring with you on vacation. | |

| Dang... so I shouldn't wear my leopard skin speedo everywhere I go complaining about foreign languages, weather and ripping out wads of cash at the casino to show off? Though... if I'm wearing a speedo, where exactly am I storing those wads of cash???? | |
