I have a question.

Why is it that the NCL Caribbean 7day cruises are usually much less expensive than the 7 day cruises to Bermuda - especially since Bermuda only has 1 or 2 stops - while the Caribbean cruises have more ports - 3-4 ?
Just curious, as I've always done the Caribbean cruises - thinking I'm getting the bigger bang for my buck.

Thanks!

Bermuda is very expensive and more than likely the port charges and taxes are higher too. I never noticed but that would make the most sense of why Bermuda cruises are more expensive. By the way, Bermuda is BEAUTIFUL absolutely my very favorite port - anywhere.

hmmm... maybe we'll have to give Bermuda a try someday.
I haven't ever really thought about going there before.
Also, I haven't really seen many cruise itineraries that have Bermuda as one port of call, along with other ports.
That I might be interested in, to check it out.

Thanks, Nick!

Pamela, check out the 4th of July cruise that Cruise Freeks has for 2010 on Caribbean Princess. Bermuda is one of the scheduled ports along with some Caribbean. And, don't forget we have Bermuda tentatively for 2010 and definitely for 2011 on it's own.

Here's the website and the TA for the Princess 4th of July is Jeanie Beck

Yeah, Bermuda is an expensive place... I tried to get my cousing to book the group to go to the Caribbean, but... she wanted to cruise from Boston...

It will be nice to stay in one place for more than a few hours... it will be different anyway.

The port charges were higher than going to the Caribbean... for certain.

My hope is that the prices will come down, I have been watching and will continue to do so...
