check out hampton Inn, Plantation (Ft Lauderdale)

A favorite of many is the Hampton Inn in Plantation, just a few miles from Fort Lauderdale. The offer a very good continental breakfast, have a managers reception on tues I believe and free shuttle from Ft Luaderdale Airport to the hotel and back to the port plus the shuttle will take you anywhere you want to go within a few miles of the hotel. You can walk to great shopping. Most guests use the shuttle for transportation to the restaurants around town.

If flying into FLL late----how far is the Hampton Inn from the airport? Just need a place to catch some before we board the Jewel of the Seas the next day.

Linda, it is about a 15 minute drive and I think the shuttle runs almost 24 hours. Give them a call anyway. There are a couple other hotels that come to mind. One is the La Quinta, which is near the airport. They do get mixed reviews, but what hotel doesn't?
