If I heard the news correctly, I believe they just announced that American Airlines is going to charge $10 for your first bag of luggage? Say it isn't so! Any confirmation of this - and do you think other airlines will follow?

According to USA Today, they are going to charge $15 for the first bag.

According to the article, Delta "doesn't plan to match the $15 fee American announced."

No mention of the other airlines.

If it's $15 for the first bag, what are second and third bags going to cost us?

The article says $25 for second bag. No mention of charges for 3rd bag.

Note, in my post above, if you click on the words "USA Today" it will take you to the article. When I look at the post, it is not obvious the link is there, but it is.
