| I'm not going to attempt posting this in the main polls but, I was wondering if any of you might be interested in getting our own little group going on QM2 for Christmas, 2009. I'm assuming that it will be departing of NYC since 2008 is out of Fort Lauderdale and they seem to be rotating between the two ports. Any thoughts? | |

| What are the holidays like aboard Cunard? We've sailed Carnival and Princess for Christmas but, now that the kids are older and can appreciate a line like Cunard, it would be taken into consideration.
Let me know when you have more information as I am interested

| Hello everyone, May I join the discussion? I haven't cruised Cunard yet but, I'm dying to try QM2 and this could be a perfect excuse. I'll keep checking back to see how things develop but I'd be interested. Neil | |

| I also might be interested and, we could possibly turn this into an Official Cruise Freek Holiday Cruise if enough interest is generated. I've only been onboard QM2 for a ship inspection while it was in NYC, the ship is beautiful and the lunch they served was very nice.
I'll keep an eye on this thread to see how it develops.

| Let me ask this question - would you consider booking QM2 for the holidays even if it doesn't depart from NYC? | |

| I MIGHT be interested but, can't commit one way or another just yet, I will keep watch of the thread and if the group develops and I can get the time off, I'll be sure to let you know. Will cruise from either port but, do hope it's NYC again, much easier to just drive to Brooklyn from NJ for me | |

| Why not put it up in the main polls? You might get others interested in the idea. | |

I'd have to agree, you have PLENTY of time, Cunard was pretty slow annoucing the 2008 sailings so by the time the 2009 announcements are made, who knows how many members we'll have by then and this could become an official group.

| Cunard? Christmas and New Years? Group Cruise? Possibly from NYC? I'd be interested but, will need dates when you get them to confirm. | |

some do, not all. if the TA doesn't sail with the group, then it's possible to appoint someone else as the group leader (and in some instances the group leader can earn the free tour conductor berths). |

| Yes! We'd be very interested, as a matter of fact we're booked on the 2009 World Cruise on QM2 so it would be a fitting way to end the year! | |

| I'd have to agree. Should we ask for permission to officially form the group? Even though the info isn't out yet? | |
